I had this post I was going to write all about a trend in society, but I then realized it was going to piss more people off than stating I can't stand the proliferation of Abercrombie and Fitch...if you are dying to know PM me, but it isn't very nice.

So I noticed while at work tonight, the clothes and shoes for this summer all look like they were stolen from the set of "Three's Company". Short terry cloth shorts, wedge sandals, wooden bottomed sandals. It kind of scares me that people want to look like that horrific fashion era of the late 70's/early 80's.

I would also like people to stop wearing black pants with black shoes, and WHITE socks, Michael Jackson looked ridiculous and so do you.

Oh and Precious Moments just freak me out, but that might be related to my clown phobia.

Having multiple fathers for your kids. Two is understandable. Things happen...but 3 or 4? Come on now...I would consider this a trend because you just didn't see it (or hear about it) back in my mom's day.

Trendy bisexualism. Ok, you may not be gay, but your girlfriend is. Someone's feelings are getting hurt. That's just not cool. It's not considered honorable to have more than one guy (or girl) you are sleeping with, and having one of each doesn't make it any less trashy. And girls who make out at the bar for drinks? (Yeah, we've all seen them!)....T-R-A-S-H.

Oh yeah....and those roller-skating tennis shoes. Those just blow my mind.

Oh, my gosh, the girls that do their hair perfectly straight, ironed even, then meticulously apply their make up, including lip and eye liner. And then throw on dance pants, a sorority shirt, a zip up hoodie, and sneakers. Then they pull their hair into a ponytail and put on a hat, with either: their letters, their boyfriend's letters, or the school logo on it, the hats are always white too. This bothers me immensely, I mean if you're gonna dress like crap, why take the time for the makeup?

Oh, and the people who walk into class late, without a notebook, ask to "borrow" paper, and then ask again for a pen. This only happens on Fridays (fraternity parties are Thursday nights.) If you are going to come to class, be prepared! These people usually do the "DUH!" when the Prof. calls on them, as they don't do the homework or the reading for that day, either.

Guys that wear nylons on their head-- it makes you look like a condom especially with the pointed tip! One guy in my speech class always wears an ivory nylon on his head.

Two is pretty fricking generous and still Jery springer . . . unless one is your husband and there is some serious space in years between the two kiddies.

Unless you just came from the gym it reeks of low class lol . . . The classic Do-Rag lol. Class isn't as bad as wearing them to the bar.

My stereo came with a remote, but I never use it. Like you said whats the point? Unless you want the kid in the back seat to switch CD's for you lol?

But I know people that won't change their stereo directly . . they will LOOK for their remote to change the stations.

I saw all kinds of trashy tv when I was recovering from surgery...Maury has girls on all the time getting paternity tests with two or three men on there. Then none of them are the father and she swears it was no one else, then she comes abck on the show with more guys and at about 8 with no results she is saying "there isn't anyone else *this* is the guy!!!!" I have two stepsisters and they are half sisters to each other, my mom is wife number three, but he was married to their mothers.

So that when people are waiting in your car while you're outside, you can keep turning the volume up/down or switching the stations, and they have no idea how it's happening.

That's what my uncle did to us when we were 12. He had just bought the car and we didn't know there was a remote.

After coloring one's hair letting it grow out and having very visible roots. This chick at Applebee's the other night had her hair zig zag parted all the way down the back of her head, with her hair in two buns. Her natural color is black, the rest was blonde. Her head looked like a Charlie Brown shirt, yellow, black zig zag, and yellow.

The Bloomingdale's window display has clothes from the new Renee Zellwegger movie, "Down with Love." They look cute, but a little too 1960's for me. Fashions from movies are a pretty bad trend especially when the movie is set in a different time.

Grunge was a pretty bad trend ten years ago. It wasn't bad for high school or college students. It was bad for designers to charge hundreds of dollars for clothes that broke students wore out of financial necessity.
