No. I've looked at the Greek Life sections on both campuses. UA-Anchorage has had a chapter since 2017. UA-Fairbanks does not have an Alpha Sig chapter listed.

The Alpha Sigma Phi website only shows the newest chapter (Iota Zeta) listed. So, two scenarios:

1- The UA-A chapter has been a colony since '17 and finally got their charter (quite common in the IFC world to take 2-3 years to get a charter); or, the AU-A chapter has closed and they've not updated their Greek Life website.

2- The new chapter is at UA-F and UA-F has not updated their website.

Additionally, Alpha Sigma Phi charted their colony at SUNY-Farmingdale State College. Congratulations to all of Alpha Sigma Phi's new members.

I remember when Kappa closed they were going to have them come back in 2022 but I guess they opened up for another chapter to come in. I'n not familiar with the quota/totals there so maybe the houses were all hitting it and recruitment numbers were going up.

Oh man. I just looked it up and that school has had more chapters fail than succeed. And most who are there now are recolonizations.

Hopefully Pi Phi can have a strong recruitment and be competitive! I only know DG left because of hazing/alcohol violations and Kappa was because of low numbers.

My fall/winter 2020 edition of The Adelphean shared that ADPi has closed our Theta Tau chapter at the University of Pennsylvania. This isn't surprising, given that they had struggled in membership size and recruitment from their establishment onwards, but I'm still sad for the Philly-area alumnae and collegians.

Kappa Alpha Order has been closed at the University of Tennessee. Closure is due to RMF.

Bloomsburg University(PA) has rescinded recognition of Kappa Delta Rho and Lambda Chi Alpha due to RMF. A local fraternity (Sigma Iota Omega) and a local sorority (Chi Theta Pi) have also been closed for a minimum of 4 years.

Kappa Sigma has closed its chapter at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Closure is due to "violations of the fraternity's code of conduct".

Pi Kappa Alpha has suspended its Alpha Rho chapter at The Ohio State University for failing to "collectively live up to the standards and violations of University policy". The international fraternity and the University have both agreed on the closure.
