Today on MTV News they talked about her in this episode. She said that she was the little girl that won. The won with the afro. I knew I had heard that somewhere before, and lo and behold it was here on GC.

ETA: Now that we know it's her. The point CT4 made about her age really makes me wonder... How old is she?

EATA: According to this website she was 4 when she appeared on the Cosby show, so nevermind if Keisha was 6 it pretty much adds up.

While I am not a fan of the Cosby Show...

....I happened to be digging through some old, and I mean OLD stuff in my closet, and I found something rather noteworthy to this thread.

It is an issue of the Scholastic Scope magazine, the ones we would get while in school that would have "scripts" to TV shows and ABC After School Specials that students would read aloud in class and everyone would be trying to get the lead roles.

Well, I have the October 2, 1987 issue which highlights the Cosby Show episode "Vanessa's Bad Grade" (the Vanessa/Denise sweater fight), and have had this issue since 9th grade. I'm surprised I never threw it away.

BTW, the magazine issue had a different ending than the TV episode did, which IMHO was kinda corny.

Hmm, lemme reread this now...

OMG! I used to have that issue too, but I lost it! The only issues that I still have is the one with the script from that ABC Afterschool Special that was about the boy who had Down's Syndrome and his parents fought to keep him out of Sp. Ed. classes so that he could get his HS diploma and the other one was the script from the CBS Afterschool special about the girl that got a STD from her boyfriend. I think they still print Scope but without the TV scripts now.

What was the ending to that episode that Scope had? PM me.

Enlightment time

A few weeks ago, there was an old ep of Cosby Show on with Rudy, Stanley, Kenny, and Deidre. I got to thinking, most of the cast and guest stars went on to do more after The Cosby Show, but where is/was Deidre?

So I went to IMDB.com and I learned several things:

1. She is born in 1973 which makes her 33 this year and ~19 when she was on The Cosby Show playing a 12-14 year old.
2. She's done more acting, i.e. Sister, Sister and In The House
3. Other appearances has been in adult movies.
