I agree with this. The Dr. Phil show talked about this topic. Dr. Phil said that it's basically people who need to vent, pissed off at the world, or whatever, so they'll use the internet to take it out on people who might be easy to mess with. He said that people who cyberbully have some unresolved issues, and I'll take it one step further. People who bully people period, have some unresolved issues. For the times I've posted on here, I have seen certain people get picked on, but I wouldn't call it cyberbullying because you can either close the browser, use the ignore feature, not respond, or just talk the same shit back. If it's just as easy for the cyberbully, then it should be just as easy for the person being bullied. This is a good topic.

No, I'll find something else to do when I get good and ready to, not because somebody else is talking shit to me. When I was in middle school, if somebody was harassing me, I would just flat out beat their ass. Point blank.
It always seems to stop after a good ass kicking. I never was the one to get punked by anybody.

re: Adult Bullying
I think bullying does exist in adulthood but we over-18s call it harassment. Kids tell the teacher, adults tell the police.

Well, she DID say "when I was in middle school"
Why is it hard to believe that people can and do stand up for themselves? Not everyone has been a victim of bullying (general statement, not directed at you DF).

My point was middle school to adulthood, retaliating isn't an option for everyone and doesn't always scare off bullies...it can sometimes make the situation worse. My personal opinion is to avoid violence unless it's directly in self defense from physical bodily harm.

Sometimes, you have to do what you have to do *shrugs*
I don't think adults should be threatening to whoop someone's ass, but if it comes down to it -- so be it.

Each to his own. My main point was that it isn't always that simple.
