Don't forget the mile hike up to campus from the far-away parking lots.

Not to be too picky, but we are AOII, not a-o-pi.

I recall my good friend DolphinChicaDDD also mentioning that there is no "-" in Tri Delta.

She gets peeved at that.

No, it's not that you know nothing, it's just that certain groups abbreviate in particular ways.

When it comes to ocean view, I still think no campus can match Pepperdine!

It is nice up there, Peppy, but how about the views from Point Loma Nazarene University?

No greek life, but good surfing and a good jazz band. Or so I hear.

Yeah, Point Loma Nazarene does have a pretty good beach view. The softball field was quite scary as it was pretty much on the edge of the cliff, but the view was gorgeous. I was in a wedding that was held there a long time ago, and I remember the sunset was so beautiful.

It does look nice. It reminds me a little of Pepp, but the scenery is a little different. I appreciated that at Pepp, most of the dorm rooms had 180 degree views of the ocean.

Hi! I go to UCSB and we have an awesome greek system here! We have 10 panhellenic sororities and some local chapters. I am not too sure about how many fraternities there are but I believe there to be a fair number. Since Isla Vista is so close to campus, there is a lot of interaction between Greeks and non-Greeks through parties and socials. Greek life is really good here!! Everyone should come visit!!

Been in the area a few times; a Brothers' family lives up in Solvang (sp).
