I'm going to go with Miss Carrie Underwood (Alpha Iota). I don't like country music or American Idol, but I admire how she continues to support Sigma despite her fame and obviously busy schedule.
She spoke at Convention this summer and stayed at the hotel until 1:00 AM signing autographs and taking pictures with sisters. She has also been featured in one of our recent Foundation fundraising campaigns.

Are the other two national team members or just elites?

Bowers was "just" a L10 (and a damn good one at that). Childs trained alongside Vise, Patterson, and that whole WOGA crew, and ended up making the National Team a few times.

My favorite SAI alumaes are:
-Sheryl Crow (Iota Lambda) *She's also a Kappa Alpha Theta.*
-Marni Nixon (Lambda)-she's well known as the "voice of hollywood" and dubbed many performances for Marilyn Monroe, Audrey Hepburn and also appeared as a nun in the Sound of Music.
-Shelley Breen & Heather Floyd from Points of Grace (Epsilon Delta)
*And, then of course, there is a girl from my chapter whom I absolutley adore. She is always gracious and friendly to everyone which certainly exemplefies our sisterhood.
I just ordered a book of our entire membership during the first century of our existence, so there will be more soon! (:
I have done a fair amount of searching for famous Phi Sigma Pi alumnae and haven't come up with anything.
I don't know if reality tv counts, but Bethany Marshall from Starting Over (Season 2, I think) is a member of my chapter. She joined the semester before I did and is the biggest sweetheart anyone could ever meet. I know everyone in our chapter is just blessed to have been able to have her in our lives. She is truly one of those brothers that will answer a phone call at 3a and listen to you cry. I <3 her.

Yeah, and Taylor Cole is a Theta at Arizona
I think the neatest Theta alums are both in the White House right now...Laura Bush and Lynne Cheney.
Also, Nancy Kassebaum Baker from my chapter, who was the first woman to be elected to Senate without having first been a state rep.
Being a dancer I think it's neat that Agnes de Mille is a Theta. Also, Marlo Thomas, Sheryl Crow, Amy Grant, Melinda Gates (I wonder what her donations are like...), and Kerri Strug.

I'm curious to see what gives you the authority to dictate who I can and cannot claim as an alumna sister.
The alumna sisterhood circle extends way beyond my chapter, thanks.

You know, while I don't doubt that many of the alums named here are notable in their own way (with the exception of the Laguna Beach ones--they're only good for hanging out with BFFs who get passed around like the community plate), I can't help but wonder how many of these alums actually continued their support of their GLO beyond their college graduation.
Don't get me wrong, I know many of them do -- but I can't help but think that many are just there in name only...who haven't given much thought of their affiliation since graduating or becoming "famous".

I'd have to say George W. Bush. He is one of six DEKE presidents and whether you agree with his policies or not (I do support him) he is a true friend and a great brother. He is a man of his word and all his life he has stepped up to protect the ones who could not protect themselves. My Dad first met him when they were both still in their teens. What most impressed Dad was that GWB always stood up for the the one being picked on. "You want to try that on with someone your own size?" One look at his eyes and no one ever pushed the issue. Courage, integrity, and a nice guy. A man could not do much better than by living up those attributes.
