Aw, you're stalking me. How cute. Gee whiz I take Strattera because I have ADD. You can't shame me because of it.

That said, you need to look into it. Particularly because if you refuse to take your meds, the court can order you to take them. And I'd hate to see that happen. Schizophrenia is not your fault. It's just part of who you are.

Laura Ingalls? Like... Wilder?

I didn't really see her as the makeup type. I mean she really had to push Ma to let her wear her hair with that newfangled "fringe" and I can't see Almanzo letting her be on TV! Their first four years were so hard though, I could understand if she just wants to look pretty now.

I meant Melissa Gilbert, LOL

Laura let Almanzo put his arm around her in the buggy before they were even engaged. Whore.

Why does every thread seem to become derailed? All I want to know is what works and what doesn't. Apparently keeping a thread on topic doesn't work. Don't bother replying, I have you on ignore so I won't see it.

OMG I know right!

(I assume she played Laura on the TV show? I never got into that...)

Dear CC Moderators,

Please keep my thread open. I've seen a new batch of infomercials lately and I'd like to discuss them.

With gratitude,

Was there an info-mercial about Post Toasties? Really?

I thought that link was wildly off topic, but maybe I was wrong.

She was a hussy and needed a scarlet letter sewn on the front of her shirt, pronto.

33girl, I haven't used the Sheer Minerals, but this person has:

I bought their powder foundation (i.d. bareMinerals Foundation - SPF 15 Sunscreen), their loose powder (Mineral Veil), and one of their lipglosses and all of it sucked.

The foundation gave shitty, orangey tan coverage and the lipgloss, after twenty minutes started to like, okay, you know how a sweater will start to get those little balls on it? that’s what the lipgloss did. on my lips! it was sooo nasty.

I would say their loose powder was okay, but didn’t offer any “airbrushing.” I had to apply it all over my face like 10 times just to get the effect of what a normal presssed powder compact would do.

What I ended up doing was not wearing any makeup on my skin for 4 months and now I look killer."

My boyfriend's mother took me out for a makeover (she has no daughters and likes girl stuff) and we went to the BareEsscentuals place in town. I bought the stuff and I love it. The foundation powder (it's not powder it's minerals!OMG) matches my skin tone well and really does give the look of no makeup and feels very very light.

I don't know about the other brands though.

I'm really glad you told me that about the lipgloss. They have some really pretty colors, but the last thing I need is more lipgloss.

A couple of the girls I work/ed with wear Bare Minerals. Maybe it's OK when you're out in the sun, but it definitely doesn't help keep you from washing out under artificial light.

My sister used to be obsessed with the Food Saver infomercials that used to be on. And then when it came into stores she had some kind of homing device where she could locate the Food Saver within minutes of arriving at whatever store we were shopping in, if they had it. So, we got her one for her 30th birthday a few years ago. She uses it all the time. I've never actually bought anything like that directly from TV though.

I tried the Bare Minerals makeup and I wasn't too happy with it. It was really cakey on my skin. Maybe I was just too heavy-handed with it. I probably need more practice.
