There were a lot of kids with really neat names that honored their heritage, but weren't unfortunate. I was very very very lucky not to be named Borghild! Oh and weren't there names that were really popular? We had a lot of Aishas (various spellings), Tameikas (various spellings), Jennifers, and Chris was popular for the boys.
