Yeah, January seems like years away.

Last night's episode was great.

I was mad at Bird for being mad at Kenny for not supporting. Although I understood. Her man is in jail...in jail without the bail...and she was obviously frustrated with everyone.

I definitely felt the chenistry between Terri and ol' boy. That should be real interesting next season with Damion and homey in the same office.

Why did the managing partner tell Terri where to go with her inquiry as to why she wasn't consulted about hiring him as a partner with the firm in the first place?

Whw was I mad at the new store manager for coming at Lem like she THOUGHT he may have had something to do with it?

What was up with the renegade cop following people around and pointing at Lem when he told him to get out of his face like "I'm gonna get you."

Oh and finally...once again Bird had on some drawers (read:drawlz) and a tank top in at least one scene...dang!

Out!

I know I'm late...

but GC was tripping.

Anyway, Soul Food was off the heezy this week. I think that this is the best season yet!

I definitely felt some chemistry between Terri and ol' boy, besides he's not hard on the eyes. Plus, they have a common work interest. But then again, so did Miles. It will be interesting to see him and Damon in the same office.

I hear you Hopeful, that jail scene was toooooo much!!

I'm glad Max realized that Kenny couldn't do it alone and when are they going to address Lila's sudden departure? That's like on Family Matters when the youngest girl just disappeared.

My suspects:
the new manager
Hardy Lester
The Joseph women's 4th sister
Christine

I can't believe I have to wait until January!! First SATC and now SF.

Arrrrgh! Remember before the GC crash, some of us were saying that we thought Hardy Lester was going to burn down the store after he lost it???? Hmmmm....

Anyway, remember that lady that was working with Hardy Lester to con the sisters out of the store? She told them that he had only a short time to live. What ever happened to her? What if she started the fire? OR better yet, the new manager could be related to her, or in cahoots with Hardy in some way.

January??? I can't wait 'til January!!!

Lightbulb Arson Suspects II

Arson Suspects

that 4th sister
Lila
the freaky hairstylist that Bird fired that night

I can't see it being Christine but heck stranger things have happened.

Waiting until January will be worse than WAITING TO EXHALE

Ok, after missing the final episode when it aired, I tapped it last Sunday. It took me a while, but I finally watched it yesterday. Well I agree with everyone, that was a powerful episode. EXCELLENT is what this episode was. I have no idea, how in the world I am going to last until January for the remaining 6 episodes.

What I can't understand is why does that fire investigator have it in for Lem?

Also, what kind of mess did Jack do? His azz was really, really shady!!

I also understand why Bird was a little upset with Kenny because of him not dropping everything that he was doing to help her...But Kenny in my opinion has to also take care of his family. That contract that he is trying to get will not only help his family, but I know that it will flow down to Bird in somekind of way.

KICK BUTT EP

Tonight's ep was OFF THE HINGES!!

I cried when Terri told Lem that she loved him. I finally saw her see her limits. She was able to break her hard mold and be real with Lem.

Kenny pissed me off with that jail rhetoric. I really think that by seeing Lem in jail, it would have calmed Ahmad down from his "OZ" like dreams. He really was worried about his uncle. Can I get Ahmad to have some Black friends though?

That slimy azz athlete pissed me off. Damon please don't lose yourself being his agent. That athlete is just UGH!! Totally coincides with Michael Jordan and other athletes who run around on their wives.

Next week's ep will be intense with Lem looking for the arsonist.

I was soo feeling the sista judge who regulated in her chambers. Braxton does not look half bad now that he is less corny.

Ditto to all said, Kenny can be an overprotective father but he cares about Ahmad and his growing up.....but the episode was good.

Damon wanted to get into the agent business and that is some of the things that come with it.

The greatest sitcom...

Soul Food has to be the best sitcom right now. I love the show. Last night's episode was the bomb too. I was upset that Kenny wouldn't let Ahmad see Lem, but he's a very sexy man to me, so it was all good.

Damon's fine self doesn't need to get caught up in that mess with the athlete. Why do men do stuff like that? How could he call his wife fat and she was carrying his child? Lord help!! The show was the bomb...I can't wait to next week.

Is Lem going to learn that he has to let the streets go? What is he going to get into next?

He has let the streets go. I mean think about it. He left a life of crime alone, married, and is working hard to raise his son. He still has ties to the street because those are his people too. Lem feels "comfortable" there. The streets help him cope with Terri's crazy azz and it also will help him in raising his son. You know he can show him what he had to overcome and how he turned his life around. IMO, Lem is a great role model for his son and Ahmad.

His desire to find out who burned down the store is a natural one and because he has ties to the streets, he will be far more successful than the police.

Unhappy I caught the end of it...

I'll have to see it on Sunday. Anyway, I walked in the house @ 1:45 am just as the guy was calling his wife fat (I have to look at the West coast version).

Did they ever show what happened to the little boy that Treach was about to "deal" with?

I got all mushy when Terri and Lem said their piece at the end too. But, I have a feeling I can count on my girl to come back later with something nice/nasty.

Why did it look like they're about to make Terri start begging for Damon??

I want that chick (Damon's ex-girl) to get hers, though.

I also want Max to find out about Lila (especially her & Kenny going to that game together). That would be a juicyyyyy episode.

episode. [/B]
I think something is going to go down between Damon and Terri because in the beginning of the show they were showing scenes of stuff that will be coming up and I'm sure I saw Damon and Terri together and Damon's ex walk in on them....I can't wait to see.
