I agree. In all fairness...Danny and Wes weren't going out looking for a fight. They went looking for Nehemiah to prevent him from fighting and all of a sudden all hell breaks loose. I don't blame Danny...if some guy starts pushing me around just for the hell of it of course i'm going to get upset and get ready to beat the f--ker up.

But did Danny deserve what he got? Heck no! No one deserves to get hit that severely that he has to get surgery to correct it (sorry to those who haven't seen it). I hope the guy who did it got arrested....they have plenty of proof to arrest him.

Looking at the first episode, i think i'll like this season.

i totally don't think danny deserved to be hit. however, being a native austinite and frequenter of the warehouse district and 6th, i can absolutely see that happening and no one accepting responsibility and the cops ignoring it. i was in a terrible people stampede last year on 6th, was knocked completely unconcious and run over, and came away with a serious head injury. even though the cops witnessed it all, they didn't do anything. obviously it can be dangerous down there and these guys just didn't have any idea what they were getting into.

the thing that annoyed me the most was johanna trying to "apologize" to nehemiah later that night, stating she didn't even know what happened when clearly she started the whole ordeal! she seems to be totally aware that alcohol gives her a jekyll and hyde personality split, so why would it be so hard for her to figure out what happened...!

Did anyone expect the news that Danny just got from his father? I feel for him so much right now. WHen he called her four days earlier he didn't even tell her that he loved her back. (at least it wasn't shown) That is the stuff that eats you up inside. Believe me, I am speaking from experience.

I knew it was bad news, but never figured it would be his mother. He can't catch a break in Austin. First the fight that his face lost, now this. Poor guy!

this season is a joke. i cant root for any of the guys because all of them are lame, and all the girls except mel are not that attractive.

anyone catch the reunion show last night? this group had some serious problems with each other.

wes and johanna are together.
mel and danny are engaged.

real world key west is up next. the sun, the girls, and the beaches. but, from the previews they are stuck in the hurricanes path.

I just saw this a few minutes ago...I'm happy for Danny/Melinda and Wes/Jo.

And Danny got P.O. when both Neimiah and Rachel called him out and said he's changed! Drama, indeed!

The new season (Key West) they had to deal with Katrina (which was a Cat. 1 when it hit Fla.) and Wilma (this was the one that really hurt them).

Then on to Detroit!

I really don't like Danny after watching that. I never liked Nehemiah, but I thought it was great that he and Rachel called Danny out. You could tell that Danny really does think he's Ben Affleck or something. That comment was hilarious.

I saw the special...it seemed so fake & made up...

And FYI to anyone who thought the Carriage Ride Danny & Melinda had in Central Park was romantic....those horses STINK. He needed to give her roses to cover up the smell!!

Why did they say he changed? I thought about watching the special but thought better of it now I wish I had seen it. It'll be on everyday for the next 15 days so I'm not worried.

Did danny propose to Mel in NYC?
