when aaron was on RW-LA
it always seemed that they blocked out his letters..do they do that for some greeks in case they want to preserve their identities?
Does anyone know if Abram or Derrick ( from Battle of the Sexes 2) are Greek?

Abram isn't Greek, the school he went to (Montana Tech in Butte) doesn't have a greek system...

I remember seeing the one shirt he wore said LXA on it quite plainly. They might have been trying to block out the school name instead.
The really dumb thing they did was - they are not supposed to use last names on the show and he went to speak at his high school and they showed the program w/ his last name blacked out. Then the principal or whoever announced his full name and they didn't bleep her! Duh!!
You can see all the RWers last names if you look on imdb.com. Since the Internet came along it's pretty much impossible for them to be first name only.

Real World Austin Greeks?
Any news on if any of the new RW:Austin cast members may be greek?
The Real World Goes to Austin!

They say everything is bigger in Texas--so season 16 of The Real World is gonna be bigger and better than ever because we’re heading to Austin! The Real World Austin will begin filming in early 2005.
In other Real World news, MTV and Bunim-Murray Productions have announced an unprecedented agreement to pick-up five more seasons of The Real World and two additional seasons of The Real World/Road Rules Challenge. The agreement will carry The Real World through its 20th season, making it the longest running reality show on cable television.

Article from the UT-Dallas paper about Shannon. It makes a lot of references to her sorority ties.

I don't remember where, but I was reading an article about Kris and Jon from the Amazing Race and they mentioned his Fraternity brothers, but they didn't say which Fraternity. Does anyone know? He went to the University of Arizona.

There's a post on the Sigma Sigma Sigma forum that says Carrie Underwood (American Idol) is still in the running.

A KD from MTSU made the top 30 (maybe even higher, don't know?) of Making the Band 3, which premieres March 3rd. PDiddy's trying to make a girl group this time around. Her name's Jennifer Kennedy.

According to the MTV site, Wes from the new Real World Cast "lives in his fraternity house." Anyone know which one?

Melinda from RW: Austin is NOT Greek -- she goes to a technical college.
I did a little bit of searching to see if I could figure out Wes's fraternity, but if the information's out there, it's not too obvious.

Found it! From the Kansas City Star: "He'll be a junior at Arizona State University, where he studies business. His GPA is about 3.5, he says. A member of Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. Also plays intramural racquetball and lifts weights."

Hmmm, I wonder if I met him...this past April my boyfriend's Phi Psi chapter at the UA held a joint pool party in Phoenix withe the ASU chapter....this should be an interesting season if his chapter reflects upon him seeing as how one of the ASU Phi Psi's got up on the high dive in the middle of the party and had sex with his date while everyone just kinda watched....
