Info

Hey I guess i should put this up about me.

Name:Mark Metcalf
Email:mark.metcalf@gmail.com
AIM SN:wke4estguy
Class: 2007
University: Wake Forest
Chapter: Theta Tau
Office: High Gamma
Why I joined: There are/were lots of cool guys in Lambda Chi at Wake Forest when I first thought about joining a fraternity. Most of the guys that I really joined the fraternity for are gone, but I have made a lot of friends in the fraternity that are still here now.

Addn'l Chapter Info: Some people within Lambda Chi don't even know that the Wake Forest Chapter of Lambda Chi is dry. More than half of our chapter drinks from time to time, but there is still a lot of sentiment that our chapter should not change our ways and go wet, especially since the brothers that recolonized in 1994-1995 came back with the expressed purpose of being an "alternative to greek life" because we were/are dry.

Addn'l Campus Commitments: Alpha Phi Omega, Neurobioloogy Research, All Greek Council, Interfraternity Council.

I'm was an international student at Western Michigan University when Lambda Chi was trying to colonize, however I transferred right before the colonization happened. LCA did leave me with a strong impression though. So I rushed LCA in the fall of '01. I graduated in winter of '02, but I was still taking classes so I was able to hangout at events and go to meetings etc.

Even though I'm currently not taking classes now,I still go to events like teeter-totter and food drive. Of course, formal!

yours truly in ZAX,

Wayne Hsieh

I am sophemore at Grand Valley State University. I rushed Lambda Chi Alpha because I felt the need to get involved, to have the feeling that I actually did something other then getting a degree. I wanted a group of people who would always be there for me and have my back. To me my brothers ARE family.

VERY nicely stated. I also felt that way when I associated, but that was only 34 years ago, so time will tell...

Welcome aboard, guys!
