HC I'm newly unemployed as of 4pm cst today

HC I repeat, it's HOT AS HADES in SoCal
HC I had to attend two meetings today
HC Both meeting rooms were without air conditioners
HC WHY????
HC My chapter retreat is this weekend
HC It's in Palm Springs
HC For those who don't know, THAT'S THE FREAKIN' DESERT!
HC I'm not happy about going to the desert where it will be at least 108 or higher
HC I'm looking for new destinations as we speak!

HC I am tired of the following words: Hurricane,Tropical Storm (warning, watch, depression), Wind, Rain, Evacuation, Charley, Francis, IVAN,...etc.
HC the only good thing come in out of these storms is the possible day off from work.
HC my deepest sympathy goes out to those who have experience lost from these storms. 
HC I truly believe that Hurricanes are the "Souls of the Lost Slaves"
HC I know I said i didn't want to hear Ivan again but that MF is a Cat. 5! He has something to prove.
