omg, that is Khia, lol. Please don't tell me that song is gonna get popular now! It has been out in FL for lik 2 years. It is actually a dance, the k wang. If you want to try to picture it, think of the dance Mr. Cheeks does in all of his videos. Then put it to Khia's beat. She kinda describes how to do it in the song, but it is like the easiest dance ever.
Ideal08 was right about that Fertile Ground y'all. I heard some of the songs, and they are good.
Songs I am feeling right now...
Busta Rhymes and Mariah - I Know What You Want
Fat Joe and Tony Sunshine - All I Need
The Roots WHOLE CD
Common's WHOLE CD
Also, there is a new chick named Ms. Dynamite...I like her style. Her new song is called Dy-na-mi-tee, and I have some others too, but that is probably the catchiest.

No I just came back from Florida and I heard it and ws like WTH?? I've never heard it in NY. Thanks for the info/
I like that Busta song also. I was watching ET on MTV and they were showing clips of them while the video was being made.
I also like Ms. Dynamite. I saw the video and it's also good. I believe she's from England.

I am soooooooooo feeling Nas' "I Can." It reminds me of the rap from the 80s. HOPEFULLY, others will take heed and send some positive messages to our youth and ADULTS... (some of us are as triflin' as the youngsters)
Edit: Beyonce's CD finally drops May 20th.
What happened to Kelly's? Michelle's? LOL

I just heard this song and saw the video the other day, and it's a great message for everybody, and to not let anybody stand in the way of your dream.

I'm feeling Floetry's "Say Yes". I heard this on the radio and was pleasantly surprised.

Have you all heard Jay-Z's "I Miss You" (Aaliyah) remix? It's good. It mentions Pac, Biggie, Jam Master Jay. I didn't remember hearing Left Eye, but it was really sad.
Yesterday was my first time hearing it.

I just hear it on the internet. I also like it, and he does mention Left Eye. Other songs that I'm feeling at the moment are both Beyonce and Mary J's "remixes"of 50's "In Da Club". Both women use the same beat. Mary's is better IMHO. Here's a link to her version, which is called Hooked.
Hooked
I CANNOT wait for Mary's new album to drop!!!

Yes, and the thing that I love about this song is that, even more than usual, he enunciates his words so well. A lot of times even when a rapper is saying something very positive, it gets lost in the shuffle if you don't listen hard enough. **think 50-cent's mumbling behind trying to do that song! **

Save your money!!! Do not buy this BULLISHT!! I hate overabundance of computer beats.
I truly wish that BS would return to the "style" of their first 2 CDs. This isht has like ONE BALLAD!! Teddy Riley is toooooo old to be singing the stuff that he does..

Blackstreet makes me nauseous! I think that once people reach a certain age/point in their lives, they shouldn't sing about certain issues (like sex). I don't want to hear Eddie Levert singing about how "Deep" he can go! GROSS!!! Therefore, it's time for Teddy to hang it up. He should stick to trying to get "Teddy's Jam" and some of Guy's greatest hits back on the radio.

Why did Teddy Riley do that computerized reverb thing to his voice? That is just aggravating! The song Deep sucks.
I checked out the Mary song...I like it! I can't wait for her album either!
CT4, you BOUGHT Blackstreet?

It was $8.99 and I liked the first two BS CDs. I miss my first one. I need to cop it again.
My PSA for today: Friends Don't Let Friends buy BLACKSTREET's new CD.
I probably would have done better buying Solange's CD. After all, it was $7.99 @ Target for the past 2 months.
