I thought I had lost my reservation at good ole OpryLand. While getting my car ready to travel to H-town for RC, I found my confirmation number. I called Opryland and my reservation still exists. THANK YOU LAWD!

Now, I can cancel my other reservation to the hotel that was 7 miles away.

Hey Soror, that's the hotel that I'm staying in (the one that's 7 miles away)! They have shuttle service, but it would be sooo nice to finish an activity and just go upstairs to my room!

I'm glad you're at Opryland. I called yesterday and they're still booked solid. I was hoping that there were some cancellations for those that may not have registered yet (and have to pay those x-tra funds). I will be calling them again today, and tomorrow, and the next day, and the next day, (and the next day, and the next day). . .

Do your thing Soror! I MAY know a soror who MAY cancel her room at the Opry. At RC this weekend, she said she'd room with me and my mother if her other chapter members don't go, therfore, she'd cancel her room. I'll keep you posted.

So, shuttles have been granted for the other hotel? I know when I called Chi a few weeks ago, someone said they were trying to arrange the shuttle for the overflow hotels.

Well, Soror '2D, we have reservations at the Sheraton Music City which we were told will have shuttle service (and is 7 miles from Opryland). And since my previous post this morning, I was able to secure a room for the 14th and 17th, and am on a waiting list for the 15th and 16th. Since we have nearly 3 months, I'm sure that something will open up; if not, it'll be Music City for us! We're not cancelling until we know FOR SURE!

But I'm staying put in my off-site place with a shuttle. I'm rooming with another chapter soror and we're both delegates. Our rooms are $79 a night.

Unfortunately, I won't be at the conference site. I have a hotel about 10 minutes away that's only $49 a night. More money for vendors and kickin it!
