School Of The Arts (SOTA)- Rochester, NY
Played sports for East High School- Rochester, NY. My school only had some sports.
SOTA
black and silver
Silverhawks........ (named for our principals Mr. Silver and Ms. Hawkes, yeah corny I know, but I think the school thought it was better then what the students wanted...Ruffnecks )
Graduating class= 112 or 122 (80% female too )
East High
purple and gold
Orientals....yes many found this racial, but it wasnt intended, back when the school first started its rival was West High School (now Wilson HS) and they were called the Westerners, so East became the Orientals. However for some odd reason East's mascot is an Eagle

Well, since I was in the second graduating class (The first to attend all three years), I would say you're right. There was almost NO diversity when I was there. Columbus was in a rapid expansion North at that time -- you might call it urban flight.
I went to junior high at Linden McKinley which was very diverse, and then Medina Jr. High. I lived in Linden, right on the Linden/Medina border, but went to Brookhaven in order to take Electronics which wasn't offered at McKinley.
Actually, I think of both of them fairly fondly -- Linden for it's tradition (my dad went to school there), and Brookhaven because of all of the friends I made there.

I went to Archbishop Hoban High School in Akron, Ohio.
Our colors are Navy Blue and Old Gold!
We are the Knights!
152 students in my graduating class!
Also, one of our schools biggest rivals....
St. Vincent-St. Mary...and yes I have seen LeBron play at a regular high school game. I am older than him, but when I went to see my sister cheerlead at the games (she's a year ahead of him- he graduated with my cousin from ST.V-M)...I would see him play.

Just wondering about everyones HS!!
High School: The Bishop Strachan School (Toronto, Ontario, Canada) website: www.bss.on.ca
Our nickname: BSS
Colours: Burgundy and Grey (our uniform colours)
I believe our mascot is a bobcat, but I'm not sure. We didn't really have mascots like public schools did. There was a time when we were The Bears too, I think. They used to sell uniformed teddy bears in the school shop. The senior school (Grade 7-high school graduation) was divided into 8 "houses" (there are now 12) and each house would have its own mascot and colours (it's sort of like being in a sorority, I guess. We'd intiate all new girls at the first house meeting). Outside of inter-school sports, there are interhouse sports and competitions, including philanthropy. The house system is a British thing.
My high school graduating class had 80-something people (Class of 1998)
Famous Old Girls: Mostly Canadian celebs: Valerie Pringle, a Canadian media celebrity, Margaret Wente (writer for The Globe and Mail), Leah Pinsent (actress and daughter of Canadian actor Gordon Pinsent). That's all I can think of right now.
Actor Brendan Fraser is an alum of the boys' school next door, Upper Canada College (now that school graduated (or did not graduate) many important people who influenced Canada, including Canada's media mongul, Ted Rogers, who is an alumnus of the Beta Omega (University of Toronto) chapter of Sigma Chi) Conrad Black also attended the school for a short time.
OK....enough name dropping!!!!!

I went to Bolingbrook High School in Bolingbrook, IL.
School colors are red, black, and white. (I've had some combination of these colors as school colors for every school I've been to except junior high. Those colors were green and gold.)
Our mascot is the Raider.
I graduated with 398 people in the class of 1991.

High School: Norman North High School
Colours: Hunter Green, Black, and Silver
Mascot: TimberWolves
Mascot Name: Wolfgang
2001 Graduating Class: 532
ETA: 2001 was the first class to progress all the way through a four year high school, and the first to go all four years at North, a brand new school in the Fall of 1997. Previously the district had two Mid-highs (Freshman and Sophomores) and one Senior High (Juniors and Seniors).
And I was the first mascot for the school, all four years!

Home of the Sundevils!
Mascot: Sunny the Sundevil
aka The Tazmanian Devil (we straight up stole Taz from Warner Bros)
It was very controversial to have the Sundevils as a mascot. But the runner up was Witches! We were basically in the backyard of the 700 Club, Pat Robertson's Christian Coalition, etc. So a witch mascot did not sit well with them or the large Wicca population in the area.
Graduating Class in 1995 = 504
We were the largest in the city that year but needed a few hundred more to break any records.
