I am halfway through OotP after re-reading them in order. I can't believe how much I forgot about everything! Heck - I'm currently READING the book that describes the family tree, and I can't remember

CutiePie - What are you willing to bet they come out with that locket for sale?! I found an ad in my coupons from the weekly paper awhile back that was for Hermoine's earrings & necklace set from the movie. You could also order a wand set that is the "exact replica" of Harry's & Dumbledore's wands. If I ever see the locket for sale, I will call you!!

J.K. Rowling updated her website to give a few more facts. Among them are these little tidbits.

* Draco can't make a Patronus and has a Hawthorne wood wand (though curiously, she avoided revealing the core).

* Tonks is/was a Hufflepuff.

* Myrtle was a Ravenclaw.

* Confirms the assumption that Voldemort was born on Dec. 31

* J.K. isn't telling about the meaning of Hallows or the other titles she considered.

* Alecto and Amycus are the Carrows mentioned by Snape in HBP.

For everyone's viewing pleasure ... the Black family tree.

And AXO Alum, don't worry about forgetting the little details. I'm the same way! That's why I'm re-reading them all.

I'll definitely be buying it.

I'm excited to learn more about the rarely mentioned but intriguing characters in the series. I'm thinking it's going to be Hogwarts, A History but that could just be wishful thinking on my part.

I'm still hoping against hope that she'll write the story of the 4 founders & the ultimate rift. That would be AWESOME!

No worries! I'll be more giddy after Book 7 is out and I'm all depressed that it's over, then I remember this!

J.K. updated her diary regarding leaks from the book & spoilers.

On another note, it's Professor Sprout's Birthday!

I need to re-read OotP again.

Harry's and Voldemort's wand both contain a phoenix feather as its core, is that correct? Hence, the Priori Incantardem (sp?)?

Or am I off?

Did anyone else read MuggleNet.com's book, "What Will Happen in Harry Potter 7"?

I was stuck shuttleing my sister, Mom and Grandmom around shopping on Mothers Day and picked it up to read while they shopped. I must say that it was a great read and offered some interesting theories about the 7th installment of the series.

The most interesting to me was about the title "Deathly Hallows" and how that might refer to what the Horcruxes actually are.

KS 361 pages of Harry Potter I've read each night the last week.

I still want to know what was in it for Dumbledore...and why he has had a rift with Tom Riddle for so long....

It's probably been talked about as nauseum, but you can't help but think that he's gonna pull an Obi Wan somewhere along the line.

Also, IMO I still think altho Rowlings denies it....Petunia is either a Squib or my far fetched guess is she could even be an agent that Dumbledore placed in order to protect Harry all these years. We still don't know completely what her connection is with the vow that Dumbledore placed with her.
