Christina was at Joe's and was getting ready to leave and saw McBadAss. The look on her face was priceless, like OH ISHT!! Then, hmmmm. Then, yummy!!

I hated this storyline anyway so this doesn't make me cry one bit. However if ABC did cut it b/c they were scared of a lesbian storyline that's just bogus. The storyline should have been able to just play itself out and let Brooke leave with some dignity.

I totally agree. Apparently there's supposed to be a new intern that was going to be bi, but now she's going to be written as straight. Also, apparently Rebecca Romijn was fired from Ugly Betty because she played a transgender person.

This is ridiculous. . . I agree the chemistry between Torres and Hahn was forced and akward. But that is no reason to eliminate her character completely. Plenty of Grey's characters have had break ups and stayed around. I don't understand the issue on any level
ETA: I found this article: http://www.greekchat.com/gcforums/sh...t=99868&page=5
"As Dr. Mark Sloan (Eric Dane) might say: "Girl on girl is hot. Woman on woman? Just a downer."
Smith probably got the boot not because her character wasn't interesting enough or sympathetic enough but because she, especially when paired with Ramirez, just didn't fit the visual template of "Grey's" or indeed, of most of network television. She is a character actress, not a tabloid star.
In other words, and they are words I deeply regret, Ramirez, with all her lipglossed lusciousness, may be beautiful enough to be bi, but Smith is not beautiful enough to be gay. At least not on network TV.
Some ground, it would appear, is too calcified to be broken."

Well, they have Melissa George from Alias coming on to play a bi-friend of Mere's from college who is now a doctor. Wonder if she'll come on with Alias blonde or Sugar and Spice (cheerleaders-turn-robbers movie) "Cleo" dark-dark brown hair or In Treatment brown hair...

In other news...
They have also added Jessica Capshaw (daughter of Kate and step-daughter of Spielburg) coming on to play a peds doc who spars with Bailey.

Wow. Just...wow.
I can't say I'm upset because I haven't like Hahn since the very first appearance. She was so mean and uncaring and HORRIBLE to Christina (one of my faves). She was like a playground bully and I wanted her gone eons ago. I agree the whole Ericallie thing was so awkward and Ice Queen Hahn crying over girl sex was just plain weird. But to fire her...nah. They could break up and her still stick around. I don't want her to because I don't like the character, but it's a definite option. Even though I'm glad to see her go...I think they may be making a mistake.

I haven't liked Hahn from the first time they brought her on board either. I don't think she's that great of an actress and have never felt that she had the chemistry with the main cast that the others had immediately. I never found the Callie/Hahn thing to be believable because they just don't have chemistry. It's not an opposition to the type of story line, but the wrong actresses for that story line. I didn't feel like Callie/George or Izzy/George had chemistry either and was glad when those relationships ended. I think Izzy/Alex and George/Lexie have it though.

DAMN!! I liked her character, but felt that there really wasn't any chemistry between Hahn and Torres. They could have just ended that storyline, not gotten rid of her. Was she fired or just written off?

So last night's episode did nothing for me. I don't know why. The Callie/Hahn ending was interesting and good job for Callie sticking up for herself and it was weird to see Hahn crying.
What is going on with Izzy? For a dead character, Denny shows up a lot.

I think last night's episode was a lot better than the rest of this season. For once, everyone wasn't bitching and whining about their problems. The show actually focused on the patients, which is what it used to be about. Not, "I love Derick, but I don't, but I'm gonna go kill myself now," or "Why won't Alex talk to me?" or, "Why doesn't George understand that I love him?!" or, "I don't know how to have sex with a woman!" Ugh.
And the old couple made me cry.

I've actually really liked this season! I'm glad to see them adding some more humor back into the show. That's what made the first two seasons so very awesome!!!

^^ VERY true. I think it's become waaaaay too serious lately. It's better when they throw some funny parts in every so often.
