~any uggs-type boots with a dress. i just do not get this fashion statement - to me, it screams "DON'T!" I could also join a "what IS the hills??" club so i don't know who that girl is wearing the grey sweater-dress & boots. to me, she looks like a 3-yr old who is just learning to dress herself.

Ugh. The boy made me wear a tie-dyed t-shirt with flared jeans to a Grateful Dead concert. I told him that, if he ever tried that again, HE would be grateful if he was dead!

And a huge blech on the fake designer bags, too, or fake designer anything. Fake "jewels", too - with any fraternal jewelry excluded (I understand they use crystals now). If you can't afford the real thing, don't be a poser.

here's the thing - bootleggers have gotten really good at faking them. if you were going around checking people's labels its one thing (in that case i would be tempted to slap you) but really with the market being so saturated, i think its 50/50 on who has a fake or a real bag.

ok some can look REALLY fake, but i think the only way to know is sitting a real and a fake side-by-side. which i did at a Coach store recently. well let's just say mine couldnt hold a match. but in the street, the average person says "hey, cute bag! coach right?"

of course if youre a true fashionista, which im not, you'd *somehow* be able to tell.

Ugh. I move to exhaust the list:

-Crocs [gross, end of story]
-Leggings with a miniskirt [if it's too cold to wear a miniskirt, put on pants.]
-Capris [NO one looks good in them]
-The pouf [hair pouf]. It doesn't look good on anyone, and especially not on the French, who invented it.
-Skinny jeans. Ew.
-Empire waisted ANYTHING. It's maternity.

That's all I can think of right now, but give me time and I'll probably be able to come up with more.

Something I hate:
Bling on men.
You know, the diamond studs in each ear and lots of heavy gold necklaces with a big god medallion.

This isn't clothing... but--
I'd never wear cheap knock off perfume. Somehow girls (usually ages 14-19) think it's wonderful to hose themselves down with cheap ass perfume. It's not cute, and your momma should have told you it makes people want to vomit.

Never wear more than 2-3 spritz of a great perfume. (I love Chanel No.5 and a lot of classic scents.)

Also agreed on capris. They are hideous.

I also cannot wear heels. *sob* I used to be a heel freak, but tore all the muscles on the bottom of one foot. So the best I can do is flats, and if I'm going to do any walking, I have to stick to birks. (Which I actually love.)

Crocs are comfy (ok so they are ugly!)... but I can't wear them long, because my foot starts to swell. Once it swelled so bad I couldn't fit it into the croc. Oh well.

skinny jeans- I looked cute in them in the 80's but I like 10.

turtlenecks- I just don't like them. I feel like I'm choking.

high-waisted jeans- um eww.

leggins- I hated 80's clothes when I was growing up, why would I want to wear it as an adult.

all white- because knowing my luck I would get it dirty.

I can't believe the people who don't like skinny jeans (but you definitely have to be "skinny" to wear them)

I also didn't know that people didn't like capris either...who knew??

I have to add turtlenecks to my list...I also feel like I'm choking...

A handful of people at my college tried to make Flavor Flav's clock popular. They looked like such fools that the trend stopped in about a week.
