We here at ADqtPiMel are not incredibly creative with the costumes. I'm thinking about going as (non-pregnant) Laura from Project Runway, as I have red hair and I dress like her anyway. My fiance is probably going to dress up as the dashing Tim Gunn - also how he alrady dresses.

I am doing black dressy tuxedo style pants, a black lace corset top and black heels, if I can find it a black dressy hat. The hope it is will look like a 20's pinup.

So disturbing...

Martha Stewart has costumes for babies. What a way to scar your child for life and make them hate you forever. I want to know what child would lay quietly to wear one of these.

I would want to see pictures of that!

Personally, I want one of these.

I will be wearing a black mini-skirt. Which should I wear?

Fish-net thigh-highs w/ 5" heels, or knee-high lace-up boots?
Boots and fishnets. They look hot together.

Still lamenting over my lack of costume creativity this year... I thought I could dress in a polo shirt, white skirt and sneakers... just need a tennis racket and I can play doubles with someone! But the tennis racket could get annoying...

I just don't feel like dressing trampy this Halloween.... Awww... I think I'm growing up...

I hate the Halloween stores. SOOOO overpriced for terrible quality clothing.

And why do they make them so ill fitting? BF and I finally found something we could live with for a party that we're going to tomorrow night- he was going to be the Tin Man and I was going to be Dorothy (we're not feeling particularly creative). Fine. They only have a M tin man costume. BF is 6'3. The tin man should not be wearing capris and a belly shirt.

I try on the M Dorothy costume. I'm 5'7. It fits, but it so ridiculously short it covers maybe 1/3 of my behind. So fine, I try on the L. It covers perhaps 1/2 of my behind. The waist starts right under my boobs. Even if I wore something under it it would look stupid.

Who designs these costumes????

So we're going to be lazy. He's going to be Kfed and i'm going to Britney. Both of us will wear beaters and trucker hats. I'm going to carry around an boy Cabbage Patch doll (going to by a tshirt for him tonight and write "Sean Preston" on it) and a Starbucks cup and keep on dropping the doll.

Martha Stewart and soccer moms (I know they will like it) is the reason why this country is going to hell.
