21 even though I had had my permit twice (after renewing), had taken driver's ed, and even drived while living out of state for an internship my father refused to take me driving. I had to take my test with my co-worker's car.

I had bought myself a little chuck-a-boom at 15 so I was rearing to get behind the wheel. A few weeks after I got the permit, my dad taught me how to drive a stick b/c my car was a stick.
