Permit at 14 (you could take the written at 14, back then).

DL at 15.

I think I currently hold the Louisiana record for MOST tickets by a teenager.

21 even though I had had my permit twice (after renewing), had taken driver's ed, and even drived while living out of state for an internship my father refused to take me driving. I had to take my test with my co-worker's car.

Then after I got the licence, I didn't drive that often for a year because I didn't have a car to drive on campus

I had bought myself a little chuck-a-boom at 15 so I was rearing to get behind the wheel. A few weeks after I got the permit, my dad taught me how to drive a stick b/c my car was a stick.

I was 23. Coulda and shoulda at 16 but I didn't.

I was 16 when I received my license.

Will NEVER happen for my child!!! I am shocked that I am still alive

When my parents were not in the car...I drove like a fool. Or should I say like teenagers do today!
