I got sucked into the marathon this afternoon. Natalie did seem to feel bad about the stupid things she said on her episode. I love her friends too. They made the show more fun. "Ain't nothin wrong with Target". I didn't notice that Lauren was also at Natalie's party. Didn't recognize her with the black hair.
Ava's episode was even more annoying with her commentary. I still think her boobs are fake.
I wanna know what happened to the episode with the girl that they show dancing in the opening sequence.

The look on her face when she found out Bow Wow was in L.A. and not coming to her party was priceless.
Props to the boy in the jersey who booed her ass as she "modeled" down her runway.
And oh yeah...spit the gum out. You're being filmed by MTV. Show some class!

I agree.
And, "i think Bow Wow had a lil' crush on Sierra." NO NO HONEY.....He was being nice to you b/c he was on camera!!

After watching Sierra's commentary I disliked her even MORE. Her mom (as well as ALL the parents) need to grow a friggin' spine.
I liked how Natalie felt bad about giving her dad such a hard time for dressing up like Elvis. "My dad spent so much money to throw me a party and I acted like that..." How's this for a new show? MTV should get Natalie's Roswell friends and move them to La Jolla and film them while they're adjusting to big city life. They crack me up. Maybe then homeboy will get to wear all the dresses he wants.
I didn't get to see Jacque's episode till today...the one with the Mardi Gras/masquerade theme. To me it was the only "real" party they featured. She didn't get her dress from Saks/Vegas/Paris...and I'm assuming the party was held at a nice banquet hall or hotel. Gotta love mom for getting her 15 seconds of fame by getting botox injections for her daughter's party. And no Range Rovers either... I'm sure her Mustang's nice.

OK who watched the new season premiere last night? I wanted to slap the girl every 3 seconds. Can you imagine talking to your mom that way?! I don't see why these parents foot the bill when their kids are so disrespectful to them. My mom would be screaming at me on camera if I ever talked to her like that.

The parents on this show are probably the worst part about it. How they let their kids get away with ANY of this, I'll never know. I have to admit I was a tiny tiny bit on Sophie's side at the beginning of this episode, because her mother was being a control freak about the dress. Honey, just take a Xanax and let your daughter pick out her own dress. She's the one that's wearing it. And especially if you're going to let her end up with something so unflattering, it makes her look like a floppy-boobed hooker anyway. That said, I think most of us would land ourselves in wheelchairs if we ever spoke to our parents like that. I couldn't believe that her mother let her get away with that isht.
This was actually a good episode to start with because this chick had ZERO redeeming characteristics. She was ugly on the outside and even uglier on the inside. I can't wait 'til she gets to college and money doesn't buy her cute, blonde cheerleading friends anymore.

I can't believe I watched this show. This chick was a tub of lard. No duh her mom didn't want her to wear that dress. She needed a freakin mu mu. No one wanted to dance with that fat bowling ball because she was so huuuge. It was painful for me to watch. But I watched anyways Does this mean I like pain? Does this mean i ilke watching fat 16 year old girls on MTV? all signs points to yes.
Give this show a freakin emmy right now baby.

Hey Bobby, I think that next week's episode features triplets. I guess we all know where you'll be next Monday night
I wonder how many popped collar polo shirts Sophie wears at any given time? My guess is three, why stop at just one? Maybe if they were in a size that actually fit her, it wouldn't look so ridiculous.

This show is AWESOME! Don't you all realize this helps our organizations in the future so we know who to let in so we get all their money? If anything it's a good recruitment tool to know who not to let in.
I despise all of these parents...here you go dear, have a giant party to make up for all the years of parenting we didn't do. I did like little Charlotte though...at least she wasn't a bitch like the rest of these girls. Natalie needs a good size boot up her backside though(sidebar - I thought she had fake boobs, anyone else?), and Ava don't get me started. Anyone with half a brain that has been to Europe or at least opened a book on Europe knows that stuff closes in August for the vacation season.
And Sierra...oh no girl, you are so not a diva. Is it just me or does she have a father who looks like a "little person" it seemed like he had an elongated torso and little stubby hands? She inherited that if that is the case.

Wow, I've never watched this show at all, but after reading some of these posts, I don't think I want to.
I think it's extremely ridiculous that a parent would throw a lavish party for a 16 year old, even if they did have the money. I also think it's pretty ridiculous that a kid would get a car for their birthday. But that could be due to the fact that where I'm from, kids don't get cars. I'm from a fairly well-to-do neighbourhood, and only one person in my entire graduating class got a car for their birthday. Everyone else had to borrow the folks car or buy their own. Buying cars for your kids is really just not done around here.

I've never watched this show, but after reading the posts I have to say I'm not surprised at some of this stuff. Up until high school I went to ritzy private schools in NYC. (In 1998 my 8th grade tuition cost more than my private college tuition did when I started freshman year. This was a day school not a boarding school mind you.) In 7th and 8th grades, when everyone had their Bar and Bat Mitzvahs, everyone tried to outdo everyone else and have the most extravagant one possible. I remember one girl's bat mitzvah that I went to was really crazy. Someone told me that her parents actually spent way more on that than on her tuition.

I totally agree. I saw such genuine-ness in Jackie. She was happy to be there, and happy to have it. I really liket he fact that she THANKED everyone after the party was over, even the policemen/security guards. That was sweet. You could tell that the idea to give the money to charity (whether that happened or not) was Jacqueline's idea cause Lauren didn't look so thrilled about it. I still think Jacqueline's was my favorite.
I was actually sad to see that Jacqueline wasn't part of that "reunion" type special they had last night. Is it just me, or did Natalie look like she gained some weight? I don't remember her being that "chubby" when she had her sweet 16.
I didnt like Ava or Natalie when i saw their episodes, but after seeing Sophie, I started to like Ava and Natalie more. I can not believe how horrible Sophie treated her mother ugh. I wish her grandmother had bought her a 4 year old car, just to teach her a lesson. Shit i'll take a 4 year old Audi anyday.

ROTFLMFAO!!! Oh lord that is soo true. I liked the whole idea of the dress, but it looked HORRIBLE on Sophie...and to think I used to like the name "Sophie." Dang, another name for a child down the drain thanks to a spoiled brat! LOL.
And I have a question for everyone. In the opening credits...they show a girl who's doing a little choreography with 2 girls, and then they show her again in a car with a little girl---both have cellphones in their hands. What happened to her? Who is she and why didn't they show her episode? I always thought that I missed an episode, but now i think they never showed it. Does anyone have any information on that girl?

I'd like to punch a majority of those girls.

Co-sign on all these points. I watched the show recently since there wasn't anything else on & I was bored. It was a trainwreck.
Miss floppy boobs needs a swift kick in the ass & her face shoved in shit b/c she has an attitude & needs adjustment.
If I ever spoke to my mom the way these chicks do, I'd be six feet under.

This link isn't to Sophie's myspace...its to Maggie. Maggie is the girl that Sophie was gonna "beat up" for stealing one of her invitations.
Here is the Link:
