On their website, there's a page where you can request to have them add your school. Have every person you know bombard them with emails and requests.

Everytime I think I am totally done with the facebook b/c it can't possibly be interesting to me anymore, I find someone from like my 2nd grade class or something and then I get all excited again. It's still hugely popular at my school, everyone and their mom seems to be on it. I wish I knew exactly why I love it so much, but I don't...oh well!

So is there NO way to sign up if you're alum and you no longer have a school e-mail address? Because I'm in that situation, and I wish I could sign up. Does anyone know if it's possible?

Yes, if your school has an alumni email forwarding address. Check your school's alumni website. For example, Univ. of Florida alumni can get: [whatever]@alumni.ufl.edu

And with that email, you can join The Facebook.
