greek t-shirts
I started working for a Greek t-shirt company a little while ago and the one thing that would help the girls and guys is if they would talk to the rep about their shirts. I have literally heard and seen thousands of catch phrases and designs. But I'm always surprised how many don't ask the artists or reps opinion about their shirts. Plug
Since you brought up that you work at TGI, I can take this chance to give you guys a plug. I am a customer, not an employee, so there won't be any reason to delete my post!!
TGI is awesome! They have a lower custom design minimum than some places like Graphic Cow. Their artists are great - any shirt I've ever worked with them on came out better than I imagined. They are courteous and prompt. I think in the time we've worked with them we had maybe one issue they were at fault for and they fixed it ASAP! They've even helped us out quickly when we made a mistake when ordering shirts a few years ago. Unfortunately the rep I had a relationship with left but we still plan to stick with them. The bottom line is that I/we trust them.
While I am posting, let me point out that the first radio voice of Betty Crocker was a Theta - Marjorie Child Husted - Upsilon/Minnesota - 1909.

my boyfriend thought up a great one for our chapter;
On the front: gold and blue (our sorority colours)
on the back: because every other colour means second place
most of the other sororities in our city have a secondary colour of silver, and noone else shares blue with us.

OMG that is awesome! I'll have to show that to my chapter!
We've had:
"boys love us, girls envy us, jealousy is a sickness so get well soon!"
"it's hard being the best but around here it's tradition"
"turns out it's not where but who you're with that really matters"
"stand in our shoes or walk in our shadows"
"if you're an alpha xi raise your hand. if not, raise your standards"

We have had a couple of cute ones
front: Have you ever wondered if you joined the right sorority?
back: letters, we don't
And then there has been a shirt that I've always wanted but it's a little catty. On the front it just says the letters. On back it says
"In life there are leaders and followers. Take note you're reading the back of my shirt."

A few more
Old thread, but this topic never goes out of style...
Years ago at my school, Theta had an absolutely contagious slogan they started using on the first day of school and kept up for the three weeks leading up to rush (rush was a few weeks into the school year for us). They wore black tshirts with "Think Theta" on the front in yellow. They'd pop up wearing them on assigned days, and they wore buttons too. Well, then on bid day they wore the shirts again, and the new members wore shirts that said, in gold metallic, "Thought Theta"...it was soooo perfect.
My chapter did bid day shirts one year that said "Singled Out - Gamma Phi Beta" in the MTV show's logo (the show was still on the air then).
Another shirt we did were the baseball tshirts with colored sleeves, with "Gamma Phi Beta All-Stars" and the year on back as the number.
One of my favorite shirt slogans we had was my bid day shirt: Front: "<letters> One moon...
Back: "many stars. Gamma Phi Beta"
Finally, a couple Gamma Phi chapters last year used brown tshirts with "What can brown do for you?" or "What can brown and mode do for you?" on them. Brown and mode are our colors.

*BUMP*
There's a lot of really great shirt ideas here, and I'd like to hear some more!
My chapter doesn't really do group shirts too often, but the girls are planning to do some for the spring. But one of them that I did have...
front: A boy's love and a girl's envy
back: Rush AST

Does anyone have an ideas for a St. Patrick's Day mixer shirt?
