And if you think that she won't look down on YOU, well, you'll learn soon enough.
You know what words I get from this picture?

"picture taken at an upward angle because photographer was not allowed on stage."

I know soon enough? What do I win?!

To be serious, propaganda is just that, propaganda. Spin it anyway you want, it happens all the time. But we aren't talking politics so I'm going on looks her. I'd get some Laura over some Teresa anyday.

I laughed my ass off when I found out it was a Pittsburgh Trib-Review writer who she told to shove it. Read their op-ed any day, you'll want to tell them to do more than shove it. Thought it was rather restrained. Hell, I couldn't have restrained myself.

Background info is that the Trib is owned by Richard Mellon Scaife, a ridiculously right winged individual who put up a lot of money during the Clinton administration to try to get dirt for the impeachment. Him and Santorum are probably best buds....

The only thing I like about the Trib is that it has much better coverage of U of Pgh sports than the Post-Gazette (the more liberal paper in town).

Honeychile, I do think that that picture says absolutely nothing and that the comment was pretty unfounded Surely you've had bad pictures taken of you. I'm bringing a digital camera tomorrow to the Pgh GC get together like I always do, there's always a chance of an unflattering picture of you as well. I'm not trying to start anything (you know that), it's just that that was a pure propaganda statement and picture that had absolutely no basis.

I see Teresa as a strong independent woman who, despite her money, has been through a lot in her life, including such a tragic loss of her husband. She's sure survived and done well for herself. The tendancy in society is to call a strong woman who speaks her mind a bitch and all kinds of other nasty stuff. Even by other women, which is sad.

Laura Bush is the complete opposite, a traditional gal, who speaks only when spoken to, per se. I haven't seen much demonstrated from her to show any independent thought or personality.... That's just my opinion.

Mrs. Heinz-Kerry was born and raised in Mozambique, way back when it was a Portuguese African colony. Splitting hairs but in a sense she could call herself an 'African-American", even though she is a descendant of Portuguese colonials. Unfortunately, it was The Wrong Thing To Say.

Interesting.
No, I did not. I have not mentioned ANY names, nor asked anyone to spam anyone else. I was, however, told by several people who they either thought or knew was the instigator.

When I filed my complaints, I was asked if I would press any charges, should a crime have been committed. To this, I agreed. I never threatened to sue anyone - especially a college student who wouldn't have anything to begin with. If you need to see the quote concerning this, I can post it for all to see.

In the context of her caring about black issues that was different. Also it was the African-American community she offended. Her spokesman at the time said it was OK because she didn't use a hyphen to which people countered that African American means one thing and one thing only, black Americans.

"Africa for the Africans, those at Home and abroad"-Marcus Garvey

Now "some say the wealthy "African American" has snubbed blacks in her homeland, because she has done next to nothing with her vast Heinz Foods fortune to improve living conditions there".

"We are proud she is a daughter of the land," Neo Simbine, 75, a retired black nurse who worked with Heinz Kerry's father, told the Sun. "But you have to live what you say. If she really loves Mozambique and has lots of money, why doesn't she build us a hospital?"

"Heinz Kerry's fortune is equal to nearly a quarter of Mozambique's annual Gross Domestic Product" - her fortune has increased a great deal since then actually.

I don't care much enough about this woman to sit here talking shiznizzle about her but really that was a jackass comment to make just like the shoveit comment. And, again, the Democratic party knows this.

I was told by several people that Marquette University is actually in Michigan. It's not.

Correlation is not causation. I know who the instigator was. If you want to know, you can have your lawyers subpoena me.

Would you really want someone to post an unflattering picture of you on the Internet and use it for political propaganda? I thought so.

THK's "African American" comment doesn't offend me, nor does GWB's comment. I know that sometimes people say silly things in public. Oh well.

I was more than willing to let this whole silly incident drop until you felt the need to show your true colors concerning me in this thread. And I should have, but unfortunately, you do not have a monopoly on being Irish.

This silliness is just not worth my time nor energy, and I would think that it shouldn't be worth yours, either. I'm dropping it, because I would think we are both too mature to let this go any further.

Its completely relevant since the Republicans and their supporters can't seem to make it through the day without making a 'Ted Kennedy needs to drive Hillary Clinton home' remark. If you are going to make one sides driving records and the ensuings deaths a part of the campaing, then its only fair that BOTH sides are publicized.
