We here at the Catholic BYU don't observe president's day. Actually, I don't think I've ever had off for it.

I've never been to a wedding either! But I will be attending one of my sisters on March 13...they got engaged at our formal last year, it was so cute!
Anyways, my horrible VD story: In my sophomore year, my boyfriend at the time forgot about Valentines day altogether. We didn't talk the entire day, and he finally called me at 1AM to tell me he had a present for me. I asked him what it was, and he told me it was a condom he had gotten at school that day from student health services. Just my luck, formal was 2 days later. So much for that, I dumped him, and didn't talk to him until May of this year. I never should have started talking to him again...wait, I think that belongs on the "boys that are bad for you" thread.

Guess what someone asked me out for v day then said that he cant go since he has to go to his best friends 21st birthday that weekend in lake tahoe. BUT that is okay with me cuz a Frat NAK one of my friends there that I know likes me invited me to a party Friday the 13th...... oh well........be nice to go......even when i was married I never celebrated V-day ON the 14th...........that is so weird......too bad this tradition will never break......

I wasn't expecting anything from Marc the Beta (as my LJ biaaas so lovingly call him) because it's still new and we're still just getting to know each other.
Tonight he called me and asked if I could take Valentines' Day off from work at the bar. The girl in me tried to get him to spill his plans, but of course he didn't say anything. I was on the phone with my boss less than 10 seconds after I hung up with him and I got the night off, even though it means losing $$$ in tips from a Saturday night.
Somebody slap me because I still can't stop smiling.

I can hook you up with this guy I worked with last summer. He's really retarded and talks about racing his car...online. He lives in Dulles and I think he angered someone or something because he has one of those faces that look like someone batted it.

I won't be having a Valentine's Days. The boy is going to Austrialia to study abroad for a semester...and he leaves on the 12th. Boo.
So instead, we're going out on Monday night.
Too bad I have mono
I'm holding out a hope that I'm gonna get lavilered, but I don't think thats gonna happen.
But at least I'm getting dinner, and he knows hes not getting any...lol
