Unhappy

Teachers were preparing to boycott St.Louis Public Schools, due to the districts refusual to give them a raise and the many job cuts. Also parents were talking about keeping their children home for the first day of school. This is to show their support for teachers in the chaos that has been caused by the contracted team, from New York, has been called in to fix the school districts problems

- If any of you have been watching the news, you have probably heard about the many school closings in St.Louis.Well,I am a part of the St.Louis Public School District, luckily,my school will NOT be closing.Unfortunately,a lot of teachers who have built their lives on teaching will be loosing their jobs.I aspire to be a Secondary Teacher and things like this somewhat discouarge me from my goals.I look at this situation and I say to myself that it is only going to get worse.I am asking you all to please pray for those in authority over the St.Louis Public School District,as well as,the teachers, parents, and students.

Bobby Brown's Model Behavior?!?

Citizens of Georgia, beware--Bobby Brown is back on the streets.

The trouble-prone singer was sprung from an Atlanta-area jail Friday, out a week early for--get this--good behavior.

Before Brown put the bars behind him, though, he had to make good for a November traffic stop, paying around $1,400 in fines for marijuana possession, speeding and driving without a license or insurance.

The fines were levied by Atanta Chief City Court Judge Calvin Graves after Brown pleaded guilty to driving without a license and speeding, and no contest to the pot and no-insurance charges. All were misdemeanors.

Judge Graves called Brown, appearing in the traffic court in leg shackles, a good role model with a "wonderful wife." That judge must be smoking that CHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Brown was less than a model driver when he was pulled over by Atlanta cops on November 7 for doing 52 in a 35 mph zone. A search of his car turned up a small amount of weed.

Brown appeared in the traffic court with his lawyer, but "wonderful wife" Whitney Houston, who made something of scene during Brown's court appearance earlier this week, was a no-show. HMMMMMMMMMMMMM

Brown was arrested on August 22 while dining with Houston at a seafood restaurant near their home in suburban Alpharetta. He had been wanted for over a month for failing complete his probation from a misdemeanor drunken-driving conviction last January. A fellow diner tipped off police.

During a hearing Wednesday in DeKalb County Court, Brown was sentenced to nine more days in jail for a total of 14. But he was let out early Friday morning--after serving seven days--for being, yes, a model inmate. (Sense a theme here?) At the Wednesday hearing, Houston arrived late and was admonished by a bailiff after taking a cell-phone call.

The former New Edition crooner has not quite settled all scores with the state of Georgia. As part of his sentence on the probation-violation charge, he still must serve 60 days of house arrest, complete an alcohol-treatment program and finish 40 hours of community service.
This is beyond, but in the long-running saga of Booby and Whitless, nothing surprises me.

Trina Gets Robbed of $300K Worth of Jewelry

$300,000 Stolen From Rapper Trina, Others
Sat Aug 30, 2:43 PM ET Add Entertainment - AP to My Yahoo!

GREENVILLE, N.C. - A man posing as the manager for hip-hop artist Trina stole more than $300,000 in cash and property from her and two other entertainers, police said.

AP Photo

The artist, known as Katrina Laverne Taylor, was performing early Friday at Club Dynasty when the assailant persuaded a hotel employee to give him a key to the artist's rooms, police said.

Property stolen at the Greenville Hilton included jewelry, clothes, promotional items and music equipment, according to authorities. No arrests had been made as of Saturday.

"Sixteen years in the business and this has never happened," said Mike Hopkins, Trina's actual manager.

The hotel's general manager, Rhesa Tucker, denied Hopkins' claims that a roster of entourage members was available to hotel employees.

Trina's best-selling album, "Diamond Princess," was released last year.

Red face Jagged Edge member wanted

By ERIC STIRGUS
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution

DeKalb County sheriff's deputies are looking for a member of the platinum-selling R & B group Jagged Edge after they said they found two guns, 13 pounds of marijuana and about $6,000 in his home.

Deputies searched singer Kyle Norman's home, located near the Indian Creek MARTA station, on Thursday morning and reported finding the drugs, cash and the weapons, a .9-mm handgun and an InterTec .45-caliber handgun.

Deputies arrested seven men who were inside the home but could not find Norman, 27.

"We want him to know that we are looking for him," said sheriff's spokeswoman Mikki Jones.

The Grammy-nominated group has released three albums, each of which sold at least 1 million copies. The group's hits include "Let's Get Married" and "Where The Party At."

The group's next album, "Hard," is scheduled for an October release, according to the group's Web site.

Sheriff's officials ask anyone with information about Norman's whereabouts to call 404-298-8200.

I am LMAO @ hippie lettuce too.

Kyle is the sexiest one in the group, which means he might become the next poster child for OZ. Him and Suge are head to head.

J/K

**This is not really Queencece....someone has taken over her screenname. Running away from Suge**

Puffy and Da Band

(Courtesy of the Home News and Tribune)

P. Diddy and members of Da Band recently shot a music video for "Bad Boy This, Bad Boy That" (the group's first single) at a community college in New Jersey. The video, which has members dressed as a baseball team cheering each other on will debut on MTV's Making the Video on Sept. 16th. Da Band's album is scheduled to be released on Sept. 30th.

But does the group still consist of the original 6 room/group mates?

Stay Tuned!!!!!!

"XXX2" Gets Green Light

Movie bosses have announced a sequel to hit VIN DIESEL movie XXX will be made - even though they're struggling to find a director for the film. ROB COHEN, who directed the original, has right of first refusal, but the movie-maker's plans to make COLUMBIA PICTURES' STEALTH may prevent him from taking on the job. Hollywood insiders believe the reins will likely go to LEE TAMAHORI, who is currently in discussions with studio chiefs to direct the sequel, now titled XXX2.

Should Tamahori come aboard the project, it would mark the New Zealander's third franchise after directing the most recent installment of the JAMES BOND series, DIE ANOTHER DAY, and ALONG CAME A SPIDER, based on the best-selling book series by JAMES PATTERSON. (TN/WNWCHR)

Goodness knows I think Vin is fine as all get out, but does this movie REALLLLLLY need a sequel?
