They were due July 15. Due to the sheer volume of recs they receive, I believe anything received after that date runs the risk of not being accepted.

COR is technically on going. Women that went through recruitment and dropped out before prefs might pledge and add to the fall pledge class or there might be a smaller pledge class starting after initiating the big formal Class or in spring

At Alabama, COB/COR starts as soon as the bid lists are given to the groups...if anyone, in fact, needs to COB/COR - just like at any other school. Since recruitment is before the start of school, they can't COR before recruitment. They have to wait till afterwards. And it can go on as long as a chapter needs to fill quota/total.

Thanks for the answers! It is an entirely different world from what I know, so I didn't know if there were events in the first week(s) of school that would get in the way, or if they would want to wait for a new pledge class.

I have a boatload at Bama this year, however, I probably won't hear from any until it is all said and done.

My PNM is moved in and happy as can be. I'm pretty sure that she will struggle this week, but we'll just have to see. For now, she is a happy girl!

Here we go!

Convocation tonight (pic from fb)

Wishing the PNMs all the best and a very happy run "home" in a week.

And wishing for the mothers a calm peace of mind and a bottle (or two) of a nice wine. Perhaps not necessarily in that order. : )

H! TItchou-- I wonder if we wrote for the same girl!

I also have one that should do well, another one that grades might be an issue and a third that well- as Titchou said, I wouldn't be sad at all if she should fall on her ungrateful face…

I'm still selfishly hoping we'll bite at recolonizing at Alabama
