Yeah. Hopefully they do have something up their sleeve. My sorority has a print, but I enjoy seeing them come up with the others, and I think it's only fair for all the NPCs to get one.

This really irks me. I really want a print.

Maybe that means they're not selling as hoped and the get to know you process includes figuring out what products will sell. I think they missed the boat on the design style they could have done a better job designing a print that would both fit in with the Lilly AND sororities' styles. In general I think the prints are all too funky for most of us who are at least to some extent traditionalists. The colors not matching to me is also a big thud. Our sorority colors are precious to most of us and in my case at least, it's not even close, even though traditional dark blue, light blue and gold (and pink roses) would fit in perfectly well with the Lilly palette.

The VV design above is a great example of what Lilly could have done, but with a bit more flair, not quite as preppy.

I agree, I'm not really in love with our print and it's a lot of money for something that's just okay. The blue roses are weird, roses aren't naturally that color, but I think what bugs me most is that they only used part of the crest, the shield part. I love our crest and the griffins and think if it wasn't going to be used properly, it shouldn't have been used at all.

I'd rather have a print that I'm not crazy about, than not have a print at all. "Wallflower" is worse than "Wrong Color Flower."

FWIW, the Alpha Xi Delta print is my favorite.

Just adding my 2 cents...I really love our print and as an alumnae would most likely purchase the scarf. The only thing I don't like is how they put pink accents on some of the items. I would have liked it better if they went with white or maybe blue instead. They did the same thing with Kappa's print. If you're a Kappa, how did you feel about that?

When they come out with ZTA's, I'll be interested to see how they do it since their colors are similar to our colors and Kappa's colors (shades of blues).

You might change your opinion on that if they introduced your print and it was green and blue with yellow full moons. That's an exaggeration of what's wrong with the Alpha Xi print, but you get the idea. Your crescent moon is important and if it was facing the wrong direction there would be hell to pay. And it's that sort of thing that they didn't seem to pay any attention to. But hey, if VV will do custom prints, I'd see what they're willing to do for you!

I'm sure I'd agree if they really botched it, especially the crest, but I just don't like being left out. I've gotten my daughter a couple Pi Phi things, and they host a Panhellenic Lilly Pulitzer trunk show fundraiser at her chapter every fall. I was hoping we'd have a print this year. VV did do a GPB print...here's the tote bag. There's purple in it, and yes, the crescent is backwards. This may be why it's no longer available.

I do totally agree though. I think they should do a print for everyone. It's what's fair, and like I said, I do like to see them come up with new prints. I was actually looking forward to seeing who would get it this year.

I haven't bought anything because it's just too dang much for me to spend $80 on a scarf, given the rate at which I lose scarves.

I really like that VV print. I don't really get the blue, but I guess that's the nod to VV, which is pretty heavy on blue, right?

Unfortunately commerce isn't so much about fair, but hopefully they will get back on project soon and it will be mutually beneficial.

The guesses among my panhel group of friends is:

1. Zeta Tau Alpha
2. Alpha Chi Omega
3. Gamma Phi Beta
4. Alpha Gamma Delta

Which are the biggest groups yet to have a print. We think AXO and AGD have been passed over previously because of their less than adorable colors.
While we think Zeta and Gamma are very likely (the Zeta among us likes to whine that someone in that department probably was rivals with Zeta in college).

We did it based on size/location (because if the sorority is mainly in the south, they'll sell more merchandise)

The ones we think are possible are:
Alpha Sigma Alpha
Phi Sigma Sigma- though they're not huge in the south...

The ones we think probably won't happen for a while:
Alpha Epsilon Phi- Smaller, and doens't have a huge southern pull
Sigma Sigma Sigma- On the smaller side
Alpha Sigma Tau- Smaller
Delta Phi Epsilon- Smaller
Sigma Delta Tau- Smaller, very northern
Theta Phi Alpha- Smaller

Anyone else have any guesses?
Aren't these four the top four in the running right now?

Yep! Adipose's logic seemed to be spot on! I was not at all surprised to see those 4 in the running
