I cannot believe this thread is still alive and kicking......I started it 500 years ago when I was still "ErikaXO" and was pretty much living on this site. I have some new ones.....I still love Barry though my passion for Richard Dawson has waned. Actually I don't watch Game Show Network anymore....they changed the channel number and the lineup is different now.

I love Barbies. My daughter is old enough now to really be into them and I can finally re-indulge the passion that has been lying dormant since about 1983...and they are so cool now!!!! All the princess stuff, all the cute clothes, and so much cultural diversity! All you could find when I was a kid were blonde Barbies that looked like Miss Sweden, and now you can find them in any look you want. The irony is that my daughter is blonde and wants Barbies that all look like her. Go figure.

One guilty pleasure is a PMS potion my sister-in-law cooked up. You take chocolate chips, some marshmallows, and a little bit of butter and nuke it. When it starts to melt, you mix it up and eat it warm with a spoon.....it's like instant fudge! Mmmmm!

Some of my musical guilty pleasures include Neil Diamond, Neil Sedaka, Tom Jones, The Carpenters, and Olivia Newton-John. Video guilty pleasures....SPONGEBOB (thank God the kids love it) and Are You Being Served, an outrageous old BBC comedy.

Glad to be back, I missed hanging out here!

Ooh ooh I thought of another one.....I think William Petersen who plays Grissom on CSI is really hot (though not as hot as he was in earlier seasons.....I'm not digging the little beard.)

HUGE Star Wars fan. I don't live in my parents basement nor am I still a virgin but I am a nerd about Star Wars.

Scrabble. I love to play this game. No one likes to play it with me though.

you don't need Mongolian BBQ, you have Dreamland in your backyard, I know b/c I've been there. I do prefer, however, the wonderful pork barbecue that is authentic Memphis barbecue. We have the best barbecue (we prove it since we have the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP BARBECUE CONTEST).

While the franchise Dreamlands are good, I prefer the original one in Tuscaloosa. One big dark room, surly service, nothing but ribs and white bread on the menu.* Unfortunately, we don't have a good BBQ joint like it around here, so I try to convince parentals that it is a required stop when I go home and we go to Tuscaloosa. Much like going to Ezell's Fish Camp is required when consuming catfish at home.** Yes, I will make it a point to drive 45+ minutes for good food. And it should be noted that in both establishments, the tea is not far removed from syrup.

*-There are actually other things on the menu, but it's sides. I think they started offering rib sammiches a couple of years ago, but I could be wrong.
**-The "Ezell's" in Tuscaloosa is NOT to be confused with the Ezell's in Lavaca on the banks of the Tombigbee river. Tuscaloosa Ezell's=poor quality wannabe. Lavaca Ezell's=best catfish and coleslaw ever. EVER.

Although I do like Dreamland I prefer Jim N Nicks (sorry!). Although everyone else thinks I'm crazy, I think Dreamland is overpriced and overrated.

And Mongolian BBQ is not really BBQ. It's like an Asian, make-your-own-stirfry kind of place. Lots of raw meats, veggies, sauces, etc. You put it in a big bowl and they cook it all up for you.

You made me think of a few more...

Banana pudding (nothing like southern banana pudding!)
Jim N Nicks cheese biscuits
