I assure you the Phi Mus know. The kappas (at least her chapter) are well aware that Brittney is on Big Brother. Greeks love to brag - I am willing to bet Brittney has been a topic of at least one rush convo this year.
And, whenever I hear a "famous" person/athlete/achievement is a kappa, I get a bit puffed up about it, as crazy as that sounds. Just as when I hear of something embarrassing being done by a Kappa, I hate to hear it.

That said, I enjoyed the twist tonight as well as the announcement that two will be eliminated next week.

Being disappointed in your own sister is different from being disappointed on someone else's behalf.

Marion Barry smoked crack. He is my chapter brother. We deal with that. All others, mind your damn business, MY frat will be okay.

See the difference? One is a personal and internal discussion, the other is spoken by a busybody.

Uh, if it's not too early to start talking about today's episode:

Poor Kathy has to spend the week with Rachel all alone. But I guess she's amiable enough that they could get along if Rachel doesn't still harp on the "POV celebration." Brendon's bound to be out for the first eviction next week, but the second one is totally up for grabs. It'll be interesting to see who wins that power next Thursday.

On the issue of whether it matters- maybe it's an NPC thing & we can agree to disagree. Any public figure reflects on the organizations they are in- the same way I am a representative of my family, my company, my region, etc. Psychologically people want to group or bucket individuals so they can better understand them. No, most random people walking down the street won't know that Britney's a Kappa or Rachel's a Phi Mu, but if someone hears about several public personalities/figures who are in that org, they'll start forming an opinion. The same way you would if you meet several people from one country or type of interest. There are always outliers and the most public ones don't always represent the whole, but that's the way things work.

Anyway Britney is cracking me up. She has added so much comic relief to the show... couldn't stand her when Monet was on, but love watching her now. Did anyone else have a few WTF moments when they showed Britney & Lane's hometowns, and both families appeared to forget that Britney is engaged?? Her mom mentioned it as a reason she was holding back, and a second later said that she would love to have Lane as a son-in-law. Umm... okay, great vote of confidence for her fiance right there! It's tv and it may have been taken out of context or prompted as a joke or hypothetical, but...

Glad to see Kathy's gone. Every time she does something clumsy or ditzy my husband and I are thinking "she's a SHERIFF??" (great example of my point above ) Should be interesting to see if the brigade sticks together or not. I hope they go their separate ways. And go Britney for HOH!

It's not an NPC thing. It's a busybody thing. Worry about being an active member for life rather than what somebody else THINKS about an organization, or even that somebody was slick enough at the mouth to mention it.

It goes without saying that we're agreeing to disagree. The next choice is to agree to respond or don't.

I think Kathy has been a sweet person on the show, but she has to be the all time worst physical competitor!

I agree with the nominations this week for the reasons given.

Between Enzo and Kathy I think they are the worst competitors in the game Enzo is just riding coat tails and can't win anything. He's lucky he came up with this brigade or he wouldn't have lasted this long. Kathy said she was throwing competitions but I don't buy it I think she just wasn't cut out for the game and for being a sheriff I expected a little more out of her. I think Ragan will be the comeback kid and win it all, you heard it here first.

I really want Ragan to win, but I think he'll be eliminated this week. Unless he can quickly find an alliance before thursday, I don't think he will get the votes to stay.

Based on the live feeds, he certainly doesn't seem to have much of a chance.

Well, I was sad to see Brittany go, but loved her "If I can't be a part of the brigade, I am proud to have been a brigade casualty" comment.

I think it will be Hayden for the win...

Me too- sad for her leaving, but I think once the shock wore off she handled it really well. My husband's comment was that she shouldn't be upset that they had an alliance but the way they told her- acting cocky & rubbing it in. But I don't think they were doing that on purpose, especially Enzo. That's just how he talks. And they were so excited to finally say something, own up to the alliance, and brag about how much they had done. Still, some of the comments or gestures or whatever were not particularly nice/understanding.

I don't know- I think the brigade getting that far was part luck, especially at first. In the middle & end they were able to save each other, but I don't think they necessarily had control of the game like they think they did. Seems like they just managed to redirect attention elsewhere. So yes it was good and worked for them, but I don't think it was as incredible as they seem to think it is.

I understand your point - I was saying to my mom tonight that it was more of a passive aggressive way to tell her. Rather than come straight out and go, "Hey, Brittney, we've been in a 3-man alliance since Day 2", Enzo (even if it's the way he talks), has to be all "pussyfooting" around the subject, trying to bait Lane into say something *or* be SO obvious that he's trying to tell Brittney about it without coming out and saying anything. That's what bugged me (but I haven't been as big a fan of Enzo for most of the season anyways).

I totally agree with this point - and even though Hayden's come on strong the last few weeks, I really feel that a lot of it was Matt's work at the beginning to keep most of the heat off of all of them that got these three to the end.
