Once again, a stream-of-consciousness rambling:
- So, Jacob wanted Jack to destroy the mirrors? Was Hurley supposed to set the wheel to 108 degrees just so Jack would see what was corresponding to his number? Or did Jacob want Jack/Hurley to know what was on 108 degrees? I think the first.
- "Someone is coming to the island" (per Jacob) - is that Desmond? Widmore? Remember, the new Locke said the same thing to Sawyer as they were leaving the cave with everyone's name and number in it.
- Who is David's mother? I'm sure it is not Kate, as she would still be 'on the run'.
- Dogen is off the island, too?! I think what the 'sideways' time line is suppose to mean is that everyone in some way would still be connected, even if they did not land on the island.

"That's not John. That's my friend!" Sooo creepy!
Am I crazy or did they not mention Jack's son til this episode? I dunno, stranger things have happened.

I can't remember them mentioning mini-Jack either. Can the plane not going to the island change their lives before the plane??? Aack, Damon and Carlton, you are tricky.

I'm pretty sure Bomb-Fail Reality Jack has no son, but Bomb-Win Reality Jack does. Hence not knowing about it before. Maybe in Bomb-Win Reality, Trojan-Fail?

I also thought that they hadn't mentioned his son until this episode.
I do have a theory as to who David's mother is (if she is someone who has been on the show already), but I think I'll keep this one to myself because I wouldn't want to ruin it for anyone if I'm actually right. And when (and if) we find out, I promise I'll be honest about whether or not I was actually correct!
And the whole "That's my friend" thing... It makes me wonder if (this) Claire never knew John, or if she remembers him but knows that this is the smoke monster, or if she's forgotten about Locke because she's crazy.
It's hard to tell when we don't exactly know what happened to her.

What he said. Jack's son only exists in the reality where 815 doesn't crash. And we know the mother isn't Kate because she and Jack just saw each other on the plane and showed no signs of recognizing each other. I kind of think the mother might be Juliet.
And hey, we finally got an answer on the numbers -- at least, where they originated. Pretty cool.

I thought the same thing. My vote right now is for Juliette, with Sarah (maybe in no-bomb/crash world, Sarah and Jack stay together) as my second choice.

Does anyone this that the bodies in the cave are Rose and Bernard?

Ive always thought the skeletons in the cave end up to be Rose and Bernard..I mean, they never were intending to leave the island, and they are lov-ahs (just the way the skeletons are laying next to each other looks like they were a "couple" ya know?)...hopefully we find out soon!

Same here. Things changed so quickly.
When the Sayid/Dogen fight first started, I was almost torn - didn't know who to root for! Sayid went from being one of my favorites to... who am I kidding, he's still a favorite... playing for the wrong team now!
So, let's see... we've got:
Team Jacob: Jack, Hurley, Jin?
Team Smokey/Locke: Claire, Sayid, lots of disgruntled TempleDwellers
I didn't see Miles or Sun after Smokey invaded the Temple - do we know where they are? And is Kate a swing vote? (Locke looked kinda pissed to see her.)
Still lots of questions, but I'm loving this season. Sad to see Dogen die so soon.

Miles and Sun disappeared into that secret room and Smokey never saw them as he flew down that hallway.

I couldn't tell if she started walking with them. I wasn't sure if Locke's look was "Ugh, it's you, I guess you can come along," or "Ugh, it's you, we're peacin' out, b****!"
