Do you know what quota was?

If I remember correctly, you didn't attend UT. I suspect Chi O used that as a guideline on cutting legacies.

I had a cousin who was a Phi Mu at UT, and she was a really nice girl.

Bid Day was so much fun--I got a bid from Delta Gamma, my number one last night!

I'll post pics when they come!

Congrats to all the UT girls and chapters- Pictures will be up tonight or tomorrow at www.boppspot.com
Small pledge classes this year, but everybody seems happy with where they landed.
Just select the group you want to see and enjoy!

Congratulations Marigold! Glad you are happy!

I can't believe quota was so low. I kept hearing that several girls had to drop due to sickness. Evidently, the flu has hit hard. I wonder if everyone made quota?

She finally opted to put Phi Mu first, KD second, and AOpi third. She got her bid to Phi Mu this afternoon.

From the text messages I have received. She is thrilled. Her roommate went KD, and her suite mate went Phi Mu also. Her other suitemate dropped out (she's been sick all week).

We were both dissapointed that she did not get a chance to preference Chi O, but all has worked out in the end. She met some wonderful people in all the sororities. It speaks a lot to UT sororities when she was so torn between all three of her preference picks.

Guess I better get to the mall and start buying some pink!

Best!

YAAAAY!!! That's my chapter!! I found this thread earlier in the week (while at home with the flu go figure!) and have been just watching it. I'm so excited we have a new phi here! We are estatic about our new pledge class!!

I wonder how many upperclassmen were going through. Or are they counting sophomores as upperclassmen?

Ah. There's "real world," and there's "recruitment world." Note to sophomores: Don't refer to yourselves as upperclassmen to juniors and seniors. They won't like it!

BID DAY!

I just got back in from Zeta's Bid Day! Quota was 36, and ZTA got quota+ 7 upperclassmen. There will be tons of photos of all the groups at BOPP's website. The flu was definitley an issue, a Gamma Chi told me they had a whole page of PNM's who were unable to attend Bid Day due to it. That would be heartbreaking to miss your bid day! The crowd was smaller from previous years, but Spirits were still through the roof!

CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL THE NEW PANHELLENIC SISTERS AT TENNESSEE!!

I just found out Pi Phi made quota plus, too! I still can't believe how hard this flu has hit. A girl has to be pretty sick to miss her bid day.

Morton,
Congrats to your daughter! Tell her that a Penn State Phi Mu said, "Welcome Home." How did the chapter do, as a whole, for recruitment? Do you know? Yay for your daughter!

I knew this had to be you! This is Chris's friend. I am so happy that we got her! Go Phi Mu! She is going to love it. I saw her at Bid Day today but didn't introduce myself. Can't wait to meet you this fall.

S.
