Molly wears a ridiculous amount of eye makeup. I don't think Jason would recognize her without her 10 gallons of face paint.

Glad Naomi left. She may be a nice girl, but I never liked her for Jason.

Jillian's my favorite. Hands down. Then Melissa. Same as it's been all season.

Re: Melissa

Does anyone else think it's weird that not even Melissa's friends know her parents?

I realize this could be a couple of things.... like maybe her friends aren't from the area? (For example, my college friends have never met my parents b/c my 'rents live 7 hours away and they pretty much only came up to move me into my dorm. But all my high school friends knew my parents?)

idk It's weird.

If ya'll haven't seen it yet, there is a possible spoiler on the internet. Some guy thinks the 'winner' is Melissa because of her pinky ring.

I find it odd that DeAnna would randomly show up in New Zealand...it's not like she's just in the neighborhood returning a library book or something! I knew that she would be returning this season but I guess I thought it already happened b/c I missed an episode earlier on.

I'm sure the producers of the bachelor brought Deanna to New Zealand for the drama factor. This would have been in the process of taping when she and Jesse broke up, right?

Many of my college and post college friends have not met my parents. Once I wasn't living with my parents, there was no reason for my parents to meet them, except maybe at my weddings. She hasn't had one of those yet! I want to find the preview again and try to figure out what Melissa is saying to Jason about her parents next week.

I thought it was a little odd that her friends hadn't met her parents. I went to college in California and even my college friends have met my family at graduation and such. Post-college friends I would not expect to know her parents. But I also thought it was odd that her friends apparently haven't met her boyfriends. Maybe Melissa has a low self-esteem and knows that her family won't like the guys, so she doesn't bring them home.

In my family, you only brought home a guy if you were planning on married him. Seriously, they would all assume that it was *that* serious if you brought him home. It wasn't taken lightly and people would be making comments all over the place, especially if you brought him to an extended family event with the Italian cousins. You just didn't bring someone home to meet the parents unless it was truly that serious.

I'm watching tonight's episode on DVR. So am I the only one that finds Jillian slightly grating? Everyone seems to love her.

I loved Jillian and I'm bummed she's gone. She's very real to me, and I think she was being herself moreso than, say, Molly. I do like Melissa, but I really don't like Molly. I can't really put my finger on it, but I feel like Molly's maybe a nicer version of Regina George.

I wasn't crazy about Jillian. I've been rooting for Melissa for a long time. He just totally lights up when he sees her, unlike the others. In fact, I think they're making a bigger deal out of the "not meeting the parents" thing just to try to tone it down it a little. Molly's eyes really are incredible.

Every time we get to the overnight dates, I think I'd be totally skeeved out if I was the third date, knowing he'd been in a fantasy suite with two other women already.

Me too! It totally grosses me out. The way he and Jillian were acting in the hot tub (with cameras rolling) - EWWWE. It seems kind of porno to me (I know, I'm a prude, but YUCK!)

Then, the idea that he's spent the night with two other women - SORRY Buddy, aint gonna happen!! I would rather turn down the offer and show some class and hope that in the long run, he wants a woman that he isn't ashamed to take home to mom!!! How do they face their family after this~~

What do y'all think the "shocking" after the rose thing is? Where, for the privacy and feelings of the participants, they don't have an audience. Think he decided he made a mistake and picks someone else??

Maybe something to do with Ty being a kiddo?
Or with Melissa's family? Though why they would consent to it when they refused before is beyond me. Even without a live studio audience they should know it will still be shown to everyone.

Oooo, that might be a good call about it having to do with Melissa's family! Like they weren't comfortable having TV crews and stuff in their house but they're okay coming on TV in a private setting or something.

I was so bummed because I made the mistake of looking on Facebook and someone posted who went home this week. I was sad he sent Jillian home - I really liked her. I don't really like Molly though - something about her seems off to me - and I don't think she's the best fit for Jason.

I reeeeaaallly want to know what DeAnna says when she comes back for the finale. And I don't like having to wait another 2 weeks.
