It's my understanding that yesterday's show was the seris finale. Is that correct?

yes, it was the series finale. I thought they did a pretty good job of tying up loose ends. I think it was the best "presidential" show I've seen. While an earlier avid watcher, I missed most of the last season, but still was able to piece together most of what had transpired.

I think I'll buy the sixth season on DVD.

It was his brother - in an earlier episode he mentioned that he didn't want to drag his name through the mud. Apparently he passed away after giving Toby the info.

I thought the series finale was very good; it tied up loose ends and didn't get too emotional. In a season where weeks alternated between great and awful, this was a really nice way to end the show.

I really was disappointed with the finale. I have all 6 seasons on dvd ad i can pull better shows off those than the finale. It was very forced and awkward. Loose ends? somewhat. 1. we never saw toby. 2 we never knew what his reaction was to the pardon 3. Josh and donna no scenes together 4 hot guy really blowng charlie off-----uuuurrrrgggghhhh ....5 the napklin we all knew was coming if you have been with the show since the beginning like i have. some really good scenes but nothing spectacular...not enough Rob Lowe

Didn't CJ go to see him and ask if he wanted a pardon? Or was that in the review of the week before?

True, we didn't see his reaction.

Also, wasn't there a bedroom scene with Josh and Donna? Or was that in the review also?

I'm sure I wasn't drinking.

I agree it wasn't one of their best, though.

The very first scene of the show, they woke up in the same bed together.

Also, I thought the "blowing off" of Charlie was to drive home that this was a new administration.
