Carrie dear...you are so right. We spent $4.67 at Blockbuster to rent that darn movie and the BF and I fell asleep in the first half hour. That was the first time that ever happened! It was Richard Gere at his worst!

I just remembered 3 more:

GIRL, INTERRUPTED
BOWFINGER (haaaaaates it, only saw 25 minutes of it and could take no more)
HOLY MAN (again after 30 minutes I was praying to turn the channel)

I rented from the library for free, HELD UP and will watch it today when I get home.

The CRAPPIEST movie I ever saw was this British film called Independent Women or something like that. My friends FORCED me to see that movie.

I paid NINE BUCKS to see it, and I STILL wanted to walk out midway- the only reason I didn't was because I didn't want to leave my friends.

It was AWFUL. the only movie I've ever watched where I didn't even want to bother to stay and watch the ending.

Come on, there are SO MANY other Keanu Reeves movies worth hating (anyone ever seen Little Buddha? I was LMAO!), that you pick out the one film that was the least bit cool? At least the effects were stunning, I had NEVER seen anything like that, and now those effets are in everything, even on tv (I saw them doing the fighting style sequences on CHARMED the other day).

Gotta give them some credit for that....

I actually really liked Wonder Boys. I watched it last night too. I think Tobey Maguire is such a good actor too. I liked the whole chaotic thing it had going. I thought it was interesting.

Any movie by an independent black filmmaker (How I Spent My Summer Vacation, Preacher Playa, etc.)

For movies like these, where's Tom Servo and Crow when you need them (MST3K thing).

Hey fellow MiSTie!!

I am mad at you for stereotyping!!

Have you checked out "Daughters of the Dust," or "Drylongso?" They had some serious emotion in them. Not that I don't feel you on some of that crap that comes out, but don't give uP!!! LOL

While I'm here, the worst movie I think I've seen in a long time, no two movies, were "Black and White" and "Double Take." Unfortunately, I saw the latter on a date, and let me tell you, that was a quiet ride home.

About Wonderboys...I saw it in the theater and it kinda ehh but I heard they re-released it with a different ending and I just can't decide if I want to sit through it again to see if the ending is better now. Has anyone seen it with both the old and new ending?
