@ the way they could have ended the series....I LOVED This show,,,and it's like they writers didn't care..

Yeah, if they did a Roseanne finale, that would be GREAT!!!!! I loved the way that show ended...but I guess the writers for this show really don't give a hoot!!! For Roseanne, she had control over her show....I don't think Toni, Maya, Lynn, and Joan don't have any say over girlfriends!

Joan's cell phone was dead - that's why she couldn't call William. I still don't know how she got that cab...

All I kept thinking was, "How the so-called 'it girl' has fallen..." Why oh why was she so gung ho to go to a party where she didn't know anyone and none of her friends would be there? She was lookin' real stupid. When dude asked, "do you have any friends?", I almost felt bad for her. ALMOST.

It was almost painful to watch. ALMOST. I LOVE LOVE LOVED when Wayne Brady totally busted on her! I've been in a situation before where I got to crack on an ex like that, and wowser, it feels GOOD! I mean, when he walked up on Joan lookin' like shyt, it just tickled me. So I was feelin' Wayne - it was like he was in the batter's box and a pitcher was just throwing 'em down the middle of the plate...and he kept KNOCKING them out the park! Loved it! Esp..."WE AIN'T FRIENDS." I giggled.

And every second you thought it couldn't get worse...it did. I can't believe she showed up in court lookin' (and I'm sure smellin') like that. She blew it. She is a therapist's dream...someone with a PsyD is going to make millions on her. I mean, if that wasn't rock bottom, I don't know what is.

As for the rest...the whole Toni/Todd/baby storyline - saw that coming a mile away. It was no surprise. Neither was the Darnell/Maya deal. And trust, Maya ain't leavin' LA - she ain't leavin' her mama...or her hairstylist Peaches.

I'm disappointed in William tho. Monica was wack and a golddigger. He's just desperate to be with anyone...

I think they did the finale like that just in case Girlfriends doesn't make it through the UPN/WB merge.

Watch the rerun on Wednesday. Someone on Steve Harvey morning show said House of Payne/Pain was funny.

I so have to agree with you on EVERYTHING!! Though my heart went out to Joan especially when she woke up all on the grass and her car crashed without her. I felt bad for her, but she brought it upon her self. How sad that guy told her he had polio when she asked him to dance..I was like girl..get it together and get out. Even sadder..never walk into a party where folks are singing and be the cause for them to stop

The whole Wayne Brady part..
