My current cat, 'Tiger II" (aka 'Putz', 'Yellowbelly', 'Chickensh*t', 'Piglet' and other choice names which suit him just fine but love him just the same) got attached to us when my mom and I were living in Sacramento. Complains in his usual feline way, but knows what side the bread is buttered on!

We have 2 dogs, a cat, and 2 hermit crabs.

Peaches (Bulldog-7yrs old)-- She is a sweet girl, but she is getting old . My husband flew to Georgia to buy her the spring before we got married. We have had her since she was 5 weeks old.

Trigger (Yellow Lab-- 9 months old)-- sweet puppy, but like all labs--he chews!!! He is huge--and acts just like the puppy he is. We got Trigger from the neighbor--their dog got knocked up, by another yellow lab. We brought him home at 4 weeks old.

Lug (regular tiger cat)--we adopted Lug from the Humane Society. He is 2 years old and we got him a year ago. He is the best cat--EVER!! He's so sweet. The orginal owners tried to kill the liter--this is graphic --they swung Lug by his tail and hit his head into the wall. He make it-was taken in by another family. Their indoor cat at FIV (i think), he was an outdoor cat until he got attack by raccoons. That family took him to Humane Society-and we adopted him. He has mild brain damage. But most people don't notice--although some notice his weird characteristics. Lug has a tick--so his head kind of jerks when he walks. He also has an odd walk-- he lifts his feet--walks like a Tennessee Walking Horse--that prancy walk. He also slams his feet down when he walks. If we are downstairs in the family room and he is in the kitchen walking on the hard woods--it sounds like an adult is upstairs--no one would ever guess there is a cat walking around.

And the 2 hermit crabs. We have only had them a week. The big one my 4 year old named Skeleton. The little was named Buck, by my 2 year old.

We had a pet duck, as well. We bought him for my oldest son for Easter a couple years ago. We had him about 6 months. Took him to a friends farm-to live in the pond. The duck used to sleep with Peaches, in our bvackyard. So, the duck was not well equipped for the wild outdoors--it died the first night--was attacked by a coyote.

I have a male cat named Hugh. His mom was pure white, and his dad pure black, so Hugh came out with gorgeous black, white, and grey tiger stripes. He just turned three in April.

Hugh has a very unusual habit: when he is in the window and sees a bird, he "chirps" at it. Not a "meow", not a growl, but an honest-to-goodness "chirp". I guess he's trying to lure the bird to the window; like he's thinking "I'll sound like a bird, so the bird won't know that I'm a cat".

Also, he has this bear, "Mr. Bear" (original name, huh ), that we got for him when he was still a baby. Now, when Hugh thinks nobody is watching/listening, he will carry Mr. Bear through the house, talking to him. I will be sitting, watching tv, and all of a sudden hear "Mrroww, mmrroww, mmroww", and then I'll see Hugh with Mr. Bear hanging from his mouth. Too cute!

My house is like the neighborhood kennel, lol! We have so many animals around, my friends are waiting for a penguin or something to come waltzing through!! haha

Roll Call:

Cocoa: My baby!! She's a cat and she's beautiful. She is black with white paws and a white stomach and smudge of white on her nose. She's extremely fluffy. What makes her unique is her tail- its not straight like normal cats; its crooked at the end, it hooks around, almost like it had been broken and mended in an odd way. I got her for Christmas of....91, I believe. I specifically asked Santa for a black cat with 4 white paws so I could name it Cocoa. Why? cause she would look like hot cocoa with marshmellows in it! I've spoiled her rotten. she rules this house! She's the "Queen Bee" or, after I saw "The Two Towers", "My Preciousssssss". No other cats or even dogs mess with her, she'll smack them! Her favorite game is sitting on the arm of the couch and swatting at people walking by. My dad says when I left for school she was so moody!

Cocoa had babies when I was in 3rd grade and we kept the one that looked like her. I named him Smudge. He was a huge cat- 23 lbs. My aunt thought he was half mountain lion! HE ran away though..

Tigger: my sister's cat. a tabby. He's kinda of skittish. My dad calls him "pooper" cause it took a while to house train him, if you get the idea.

Those 2 are officially "our" cats.

THen the 2 strays that came and never left and are now part of the family:

Socks: Black and WHite like Cocoa. Actually, he may be an offspring of Smudge. Sweetest cat ever! He has never bitten or scratched any of us! I'm just guessing he's aroun 3 years old.

Lil Bit: Stray who is mean! But we love him anyway. He looks like Tigger, hence the name.

We have 2 dogs too!

Gizmo: A Corgi "mix"(ahem...mutt). My sister decided she wanted a dog, so about 3 years ago we got him from the humane society. He's a sweetie, but fat cause my mama spoils him! I mean, she takes hiim and buys him an ice cream cone! He loves car rides. My dad got mad cause one time he had to ride in the backseat of my mom's car cause Gizmo has to sit in the front!

Nipper: The newest addition to our pack. He's a pure bred Yellow Lab. My dad works with someone who breeds and sells yellow labs. Nipper's parents are like, champions and stuff. Well, the mom stepped on his back paw when he was tiny and its all deformed so the guy couldn't sell him for like, $1500 like he normally does and was probably going to be putting him to sleep. My dad didn't want that to happen, so we paid $100 and got him! He's adorable, he's about 3 months now and so cute! We're still having problems house training him. And he's teething, so biting/chewing on everything, hence the name...Nipper!

sorry if my grammer is bad; its late and i'm tired!

My pet

My husband and I got a kitten from a group of ladies, who rescue abused animals, nearly 12 years ago. The kitten was supposed to be something joyful when I was sick.

Well, my health greatly improved, and the cat has turned out to be very joyful and quite demanding. Now, an old codger cat, he really rules our home, and we love him dearly.

As for funny things that he can do...I kid you not...he has learned how to put his paws around door knobs and twist the door knob until the door opens. He is hysterical!

My Pets:

I have three kitties and one puppy ( I call him a puppy but he is 7)

The kitties names:
Chase= a boy with long beauitful hair (black/white)
Kiki= a girl calico long hair
Zoey= a girl (she's the baby!! I got her in the end of August) she has zebra stripes and she is short hair

The puppy:
Bo= a golden retriever he is awesome. He's huge and so loveable.
For Homecoming 2001 Phi Sig had a jungle theme for our float. And I thought it would be cute to have some "live animals" for our jungle. So I bought some cheetah fabric and attached it to Bo's collar and he became our live jungle pet!
We called him "Cheetah Bo" (very orignal I know) and one of my sisters and I were "Cheetah Tamers" It was cute.

I have four cats and a lab puppy. The cats are Dusty, Reese, Abby and Peaches, the puppy is Sierra. It would take days to write all the funny stuff they do, so I'll try to keep it short.

Abby is the "character" of the bunch - she loves heights, and for a short time we had a ladder set up in the house (don't ask) and she would climb to the top step and sleep there. She also can open doorknobs sometimes. She definetely rules the house!

Dusty is the fat lazy cat - she used to sit on my fiance's shoulder when she was a kitten and ride around the house. She's the cuddler!

Reese looovvess attention (like all animals!) and will sit and stare at you until you acknowledge her. Once you starting petting her, she won't leave your side.

Peaches is our "foster cat". My fiance's sister got pregnant and didn't want the cat around the baby, so we took her in. She is the sweetest kitty and loves to be held and cuddled.

Sierra - where to begin!! She's almost 5 months old and has tons of energy!!! She loves chasing the cats.

Like I said, I could go on and on, but I'll spare you guys!!

I have 3 bettas (living separately of course!)

I started naming them after the letters in the Greek Alphabet, but skipped 'Beta' since they are already bettas

I have Alpha which I bought in January, Gamma which I bought in February, and Delta (which is a beautiful all-white betta!) which I bought in March.

The cutest thing Alpha has done is jump up for his food! It was just so cute!

Lets see...

I've got my dog...Rajah..the dumbest thing alive, he's named after Rajah from Aladdin. My cousins wanted to name him Princess Jasmine, but daddy wouldnt let that happen.

And then I've got Pepe Le Pew (aka fat cat, bud, old man) and PJ (aka little kitty, jingles, the b*tch) who are my two cats. They're fun but I don't have any interesting stories about them..

Dog (Jack Russel Terrier): Milo (yes, like the movie The Mask)

Cat (Calico): Callie (How original, right?)

Both animals have interesting stories. Milo likes to take any toy we buy him (stuffed) and pull the stuffing out of them so it's all over the bedroom. We just got him two new toys Monday afternoon, and by 10 last night he had all the stuffing out of one of them. Callie, poor thing, had to have two hysterectomies in one year. After she had the first one, she was still in heat, and when we called the vet, they would tell us to bring her in. However, Callie would hear the conversation, and automatically would stop being in heat. So the next time it happened, my mom called the vet (from the bathroom and spoke in a whisper) and the vet said that they'd do exploratory surgery, but if they didn't find anything they'd have to charge us. So when they went in through surgery, they found a small piece that had broken off and lodged itself way up in the body...there would have been no way to find the piece if she hadn't been in full blown heat.

When I was 7, I had a puppy for a few months before my mom had to give it away.

From the time that I was 8 until I was 12, I had fish, but the went belly-up and we constantly had to replace them (the guppies were a failure).

When I was 10 going on 11, we started getting canaries. We acquired one that we thought was a male (I named him Kevin). One morning, I found a broken egg on the bottom of the cage. She was renamed Karin. The funny thing was she sang so beautifully and loved Gershwin. We went to Europe for two weeks, leaving her under the care of a neighbor. When we returned, she refused to sing for two weeks.

While Karin was still alive, we acquired another canary. It was a male and we gave him the name Kevin. He didn't sing and likely he was a sick bird. We thought he was stupid, don't ask me why. He lasted only 14 months, dying two months after Karin.

Six weeks later, we wanted to have the house filled with the song of a canary. We acquired two more, one of them was a beautiful dark colored bird. I saw this canary in the pet store jumping about in the cage and singing. When I found out this beauty was in the pet store for several months and no takers, I felt so sorry for this creature. I gave this bird a home, I wasn't sure if it was male or female. The other one was a beautiful yellow bird with black streak on one side of her head starting from the eye. This one would last only two months. She was constantly laying eggs. One day, I came home to find her on the floor of the cage not feeling well. When my mom came home from work, we rushed her to the vet. We learned that she had a breached egg. The vet removed it and tried in vain to save her life. The next day I learned she died and I was devastated. The guilt still haunts me 15 years later. A few days later, we acquired our final canary. She kinda resembled the one we lost so tragically. However, she was unfairly compared to the other one. She was with us for more than two years. The dark one was the last to go. This creature contracted an infection and languish until I came home to find the bird dying. A few moments later, I found this beautiful animal keeled over. It was exactly three weeks after my 18th birthday. I was crying and angry, even after 12 years. Since then, we didn't have anymore pets.

Now, I want to get a cat maybe two. My mom and I have been trying to convince my dad to let us have one for several years. This will take work, but he will come around!

my family is a golden retriever family....
currently we have 3:
brandy--she is the oldest
wally--brandy and odie's (our first golden retriever who dies at the age of 15) son
daisy- wally's new wife, and soon to be mother of puppies!
i grew up with them and love them. we took our family picture with them when i was in high school

in the picture the one to the far left is brandy (shr only looks old because she had 2 litters of puppies years ago), the one laying infront is odie (rip), and the big one on the right is wally. this picture was taken before daisy was arround.

we also have 3 cats:
billy--he is kind of a tan color, he is my favorite
tigger---he is orange
kali (or miss kitty as my mom calls her)--she is orange, and i think she is very soft, but a bitch.
