ETA: There's a great little store called UK Gourmet that sells a number of food items that are hard to find outside the UK, including sweets, very good bangers, and many different varieties of cheese. It's in Connecticut too.

There's a store in MA called British Delights where I go squeal like a schoolgirl every few months But good to know about the other one in the area. There's nothing wrong with CT...it's a pahkin' lot!
EDIT: That website is an eyesore but it's making me drool. They have way more stuff than British Delights, at least fresh food wise. Sausages, sausage rolls, steak and kidney pie, bacon, and all the sweets in the world. I'm only two hours away...I think I'll be popping in for a visit

That is part of the reason why San Francisco is great, the only chain "casual dining" restaurants within city limits are Chevy's and the cheesecake factory. We have no PF changs, Chilis, Friday's, or any of that OH WAIT I LIE, we have 1 Olive Garden too.
I did try fried pickles for the first time last night, and I have to say, I thought they were pretty tasty.

One of these children at age 12 weighed more than I did in college.

I tried it earlier today. It wasn't bad, but nothing I would make a special trip there to eat.

Had lunch with my cousin at fridays the other day. we tried the potato dippers (can't remember the name) they were actually pretty good. not to greasy (that is what I was worried about) and the stuff to dip them in was a queso type sauce that was very good. Of course we both got salads so we could eat that, but still it was worth it since it was on sale too.
