HC it is 70 degrees and HAILING outside my office
HC we are in teh midst of the noisiest thunderstorm I've ever seen
HC the creek outside my office has nearly reached our front steps
HC I wore cute espadrille shoes to work today
HC I am going to have to run barefoot to my car when I leave, because the mud will KILL my shoes

HC had a wonderful chapter retreat?
HC headed up to Los Angeles for a roadie (NPHC picnic) tomorrow with four great Sorors -- one of my LS, two members of our 2004 line and a marvelous, sisterly young Soror who makes everyone in her orbit feel welcome?

HC I know I sent my daughters to bed like 25 minutes ago
HC they're in there laughing like I sent them to Kings Island (amusement park)?
HC back-in-the-day, dad would have hit the door belt-in-hand?
HC but Imma chill, because children's laughter is a beautiful thang...
HC but they are still getting up for church tomorrow, no excuses.

HC apparently my daughter stole sleep from them?
HC she took a nap for over 2 hours yesterday afternoon?
HC she was in bed and asleep before 9:30 last night and slept past 9:00 this morning?
HC she wanted to play hookie from church today so she could do her homework and clean her room?
HC she doesn't have school tomorrow?
HC when I reminded her of this, HER plans are to go to daycare tomorrow?
HC I took off work so she wouldn't have to go to daycare?
HC I told her we'd see how much homework and cleaning she does AFTER church, and that will determind IF she goes to daycare?

HC my first college roommate used to do just that
HC she would spend all day copying books at her student worker job
HC I got a call at work from some named Peaches
HC I asked her name again cuz I KNEW I didn't hear her correctly
HC She got an attitude
HC She said "It's Peaches Come, P-E-A-C-H-E-S C-O-M-E"
HC She faxed me some paperwork and that's exactly what's listed on her fax header
