1. Still watching.
2. Not surprised the Weavers are still in it. Bummed, but not surprised.
3. I'm hoping the Linzes take it -- I really like them and the way the approach the race and deal with each other. I won't be disappointed if the Bransons win. But I may throw my TV through a window if the Weavers win. I think I dislike them about as much as any team in TAR history -- maybe even more. I would like to think that they are watching and seeing just how they come across, but I think they may be too delusional to recognize their own hypocracy.

Obviously, I'm still watching I'm surprised the Weavers are still in it, just because I REALLY have wanted them to go home the past four or five weeks. (Last night's discussion about them saying something about how they always felt that they were in the race and they could win it, all I did was yell at the TV "YEAH, UNTIL YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE GOING TO BE ELIMINATED AND DIDN'T SHOW ANY ENTHUSIASM ABOUT BEING ABLE TO CONTINUE IN THE RACE TWO WEEKS AGO!!!" )
I'm really rooting for the Linzes (I agree with you, MC, about how they've been approaching the race and dealing with one another), but wouldn't be overly disappointed if the Bransens win - just as long as the Weavers come in third, I'll be thrilled as punch!

The season finale is this Tuesday, December 13th. The Linz family, Weaver family, and Bransen family is left.

After the show concludes, there's going to be another hour (at least on the west coast) and a challenge for the two runner-ups, with the winner getting a car, according to USA Today.

I kinda hope the Weavers win, only because it would pi$$ all the other teams off in a HUGE WAY. :P

Great outcome. The team that should have won actually did, although I would not have been disappointed with a Branson family win. It was close at the end.
And Season 9 in just 2 months. Back to 2 person teams and back to travelling the world. Yea!!

when you look at it, the game was pretty unfair in terms of athletic abilities. most of the other teams had little kids competing. just imagine them rolling the logs if they happened to choose that event etc.
i have only seen a few episodes. i sort of wanted to 3rd place team to win.

True about that task requiring strength, but that's why it was a detour with the curling, which doesn't require that much strength, being the other option. They were pretty good about that throughout, making sure that detours that required strength were balanced by those that didn't require so much strength. If a team with little kids picks the strength-requiring detour anyway, well that's just stupid.
And actually, only 2 teams had little kids, and one of those was eliminated in the first leg. After those teams, I think Rolly was the youngest at 14, and he certainly proved himself capable on quite a few roadblocks. (He had to, since his sisters rarely if ever would do them.)

As I said earlier, I really do think I would have thrown my TV out the window if the Weavers had won. Their attitude made them perhaps the team that I have disliked the most in 8 seasons. I started out liking them, but with every week that passed, they became more and more unbearable to me. I still have some hope for Rolly that he can overcome the influence of his mother and sisters -- I shared his exasperation last night when the rest of his family was just giving up, since the task was "stupid."

I'd like to see the final again.
It's amazing that the Weavers and their great cab driver got them a big lead, and they left the stadium for the charter flight only 10 min. behind - and then finish last. That family was inspirational.

It's actually a 5+ minute video on CBS.com.
I won't give away who wins the Yukon.
ETA: The Linzes do say in another video at CBS.com that they are giving half of the million dollars they won to their parents and splitting the other half between the four of them and their 3 other siblings.
