Alright, cant wait -- last season was awesome!!

Sistermadly 08-05-2005 05:54 PM

I'll probably skip it. About the only time I will voluntarily watch kids on tv is when they're catching the clap, using penis pumps, or carrying out school shootings in Canada . ;)

KDAngel 08-09-2005 01:42 PM

I can't wait! I so love this show!

valkyrie 08-09-2005 01:46 PM

Although I think having kids on the show is a sure sign of jumping the shark, I'll probably watch because I love TAR so much.

smiley21 08-09-2005 06:48 PM

I might want to skip. I will check out the first episode though. Kids might kill the show. I hope not. Hopefully it will go back to normal after they get this season out of their system.

yea, I may want to sit this one out also.....TAR is amazing so maybe...but I am doubtful, I will have to watch a few eppys to decide

Maybe it's just me, but what's the point in having a family edition if not ALL the teams have "children" (under the age of 18) on them?

LOL, so the ones without children can kick their butts. ;)

Why did they have to mess with a good thing? I'm SO not interested in a family edition.

I can just see it,

Kids: "Dad, are we there yet? Are we there yet? Are we there yet?"

Dad: "Don't make me stop this car!"

I haven't quite figured it out. I read the application, and it said "must be at least 12," but there are kids younger than 12 here.

I'm willing to give it a chance, knowing they'll go back to the regular format after this. Only 3 or 4 of the teams seem to have younger than teenage kids, and some teams have no kids.

As for the kids complaining, I'll bet these kids are not the complaining type. Ms. MysticCat and I never would have applied, 'cause we know the MysticKittens would have been doing the "are we there yet" thing the whole time. I'm betting the teams with kids have parents who know their kids can handle it. And what a cool experience to have as a family.

Congratulations to Amazing Race

for once again winning the Emmy for best "Reality/Competition Program"

I believe that they are 3 for 3

lets hope this incarnation will be just as good!

I am wondering about those families with 8 and 9 year old kids. I can only imagine they drove the families nuts. I would think that after a few days of running all over the world, the kids would go "mommy i am tired and wanna go home!"

I do not want to, but I have to watch.

Did anyone watch? Notice who the 2 guys at the hot dog stand were....
