Mr. KKC and I have talked this over often and have both agreed that if there were a male form of BC, he'd take it, but I wouldn't stop using my NuvaRing. I'd still use my NuvaRing even if the male BC were in the form of a shot or patch, something you didn't have to remember to take at the same time every day. It's not that I don't trust him, but that any medication with such a time-sensitive dosage is too easy to mess up.

I want to have children with my fiance, but not now. In the end we both do our part; I use my NuvaRing and he uses condoms. I think that a male BC would be useful if only in that it provided men with alternative methods of contraception.

I don't think mr. texas could remember to take a male BC... if it was a shot or something *maybe* but I don't think he could remember a pill everyday

i'm kind of a perfectionist so i think i would still need to take my own pill because i'd always be wondering if he forgot. men don't always take these things seriously and i'd be worried that he's "forget" to tell me that he forgot his BC for 4 days in a row.

it would be great to try though!

I think it'd be great. I would trust someone I was in a relationship with, but I would still take the pill too. Like someone said earlier, there are medications and things that can screw up its effectiveness, so if we're both using it, then we're only safer! If I were a guy, I'd never trust someone to take the pill. Its not so much a 'trust' issue, more of a precaution...ANYONE can forget at some point or be late taking it or any number of things...back up is always good!
