Hey OTW... is that the norm? 14 bids??? I know that AGD is the only NPC and being greek isn't that big so I was just wondering if that was the norm or above norm for DS?

WOO HOO!! More new sisters!!
Delta Zeta at the University of British Columbia proudly welcomed 15 new baby squirrels yesterday, including a legacy!! With amazing return rates all week long, AGD-DZ was one of three chapters (/8) to match quota to cap off another successful Formal Recruitment.
Congratulations to the hard-working DZ collegians and alumnae, and also to Delta Sigma, Delta Pi (yea Ray Ray!)and AGDs everywhere for their Fall 2004 recruitment successes ~ 100 years of AGD pride continues!!

Yes and no.
Since I've been an AGD numbers have ranged from 8-15 for FR, and once in a while one or two will choose to drop after receiving bids.
10 is about average, so anything over that is something to get excited about.
Because we're the only NPC, we also don't have quota set.
But the girls really worked their butts off this FR. Must have been that AGD spirit they still have from Convention!

I have heard it through the grapevine that Tau (University of Toronto) is in the middle of Recruitment and is doing very well. Their quota will probably be 8, which is higher than in past years. Zeta Alpha (Eastern Michigan) starts today. I'll be at Pref and bid matching Saturday so I'll let you know how things turn out there. Zeta Chi starts Saturday, the 25th. Alpha Pi (Wayne State) doesn't start until October. I will keep you posted on GL2 as I get the results!

Thanks for sharing the great news, Sandy!
Delta Sigma is VERY proud to have recruited 14 baby squirrels. They're absolutely wonderful!
Since we are the only NPC on campus, IHQ sets quota and total for us.
Quota is 10 and Total is 35
We began this semester with membership at only 15...but thanks to an outstanding Fall Recruitment... we're up to 29!!!

Delta Pi has also adopted a Delta Sigma! One of our members transferred to San Francisco State this semester. Was just tickled to hear that she chose to affiliate

Both of your news is wonderful to hear! Thanks for the info about DS, it is awesome to hear that you are so close to total. Since there are no "laws" covering your campus, can DS COB all year long?
