With a strong name like Dixie Lee...I know she will be strong and make it through this!! God bless her and your entire family! Keep your head up Honey-- God knows what is best for you and your family--and from the way you talk, I have faith she will make it through this because God knows what is best.

My brother just called to tell me that she may have turned the corner! I'm a little scared to get too optimistic, but PRAISE THE LORD!!!!

Honey,
I have my entire young adults group that I'm an active participant with prayer for you and your family throughout this next week. I will be keeping my fingers crossed that your mom has turned the corner, but know that there are at least another 12 people out here in San Diego praying for you and your family.
Love,
Jenn

I'll keep your uncle in my prayers, but I'm so glad to hear that the MRI didn't find anything of huge concern!

Still asking the Lord for His mercy for your uncle - but am SOOOOO glad that the MRI was negative!!
My mama looks SOOO much better!! The doctors told her how close they were to losing her last night, and she just praised the Lord for His healing power! She's witnessing and delighting so many of the nurses in the Cardio-Vascular Unit, she's "Miss Popularity"!! She's down from nine to two meds, and will be able to get out of bed tomorrow. She may develop diabetes (they'll know in a few days), but we're just praying against that, too! The Lord is so good, so awesome!!!

this is really minor compared to some of the other reasons why people are asking for prayers, but I am seriously going insane... I had a TERRIBLE week and it looks like the weekend is going to be like this as well. Please pray that I don't tear all my hair out by the time tomorrow is over.
thanks

Absolutely I'll be praying for you....there are both big and small types of prayers....sometimes mine are just that I remember to do something the next day or that I'll make it through my next class!
Keep your chin up, and if you need to talk, please PM me and I will do anything I can to help!
L&L,
Jennie

Sisters,
As I asked for your prayers before for my uncle, I ask for them once more. My uncle went into the emergency Monday morning because he could not take the pain in his shoulder any longer. Well, results came back and he has lung and brain cancer. Please pray for him. He has to go in to brain surgery on Thursday morning.

I just found out that one of my professors from my last university was killed on Christmas Eve. He was always kind of unusual, but he meant well and was very kind and giving. I don't quite know what kind of prayer I'm asking for here, but I just felt the need to mention it.
Here's something I found online about him:

What a nice tribute...

Andrea,
I will be thinking about you and your uncle and your family during this next week. I'll add you all to my prayer list for the next few days, as well as his doctors. And ForeverDiamond, I am thinking of you and your professor's family and school community.
