This is going to be incredibly weird. I was on the mindset that even if we the recall came through, can the new governor really be capable enough to handle all the financial burdens the state is facing. I honestly think Arnold only won for the fact that everyone knows him. My mom even once told me, "If I register to vote, I would just vote for Arnold since I know the actor." Btw, she didn't register. Anyhow we'll see how this all plays out.

People now see the mistakes and why taxes are neccessary and why CA only needs more at this point.

The issue isn't NO car tax, but don't raise the car tax by 300% which is what Davis did. Californians already pay one of the highest car registration rates in the country, and like I said in my last post $1500 to register my $25K car is ridiculous!

I agree!!!! We have a 1948 Willy Jeep that my husband uses for put around town and out registration hiked to over $400...I don't think so....I had to non-op it until the car tax drops.

My car registration is up in December... Thank goodness I got my paperwork last week! I sure did register it online, at $95, instead of waiting until December and paying almost $300. BTW, I have a 1993 Ford Taurus.

About the school tuition. We've already felt the pain of this. I am enrolled in a 3-unit class (that's it... only one class) and my tuition at a CSU is $850!! Our community colleges have gone up too. It use to be that CC's were free, now students have to pay around $20 a unit.

My feeling about Arnold being elected is shock! I honestly don't understand how so many Californian's could vote for someone who wasn't experienced in politics, especially with this big burden of the budget to face. (I obvisouly didn't vote for him...) I was talking with some family members of mine, and they told me that they were gonna vote for him, only because they knew that everyone else was going to, so why split the vote? WTF??? Why not vote for who you think is most qualified??? Isn't that what you're suppose to do??? I donno... I pray that he can handle it, and actually follow through with his promises, unlike all politicians before him.

Because our country was built on the fact that career politicians are not a good thing. Whether or not there are career politicians does not mean it's what's right.

Actually it was Gray who ran a scam on the media involving some major economic numbers and didn't release them until after his election.

I think Arnold winning will help the democrats in the long run. Just wait a year of him being in office and you will see what I mean.

Someone please explain to me why anyone would need 9 hummers!! NO need!!

Maybe he should help the deficit and donate some of his own earnings, god knows he would still have enough to live off.

Because Clinton decided he was going to auction some of the stuff he stole from the White House when he left to cover the deficit.
