I went to orientation for my internship at the university communications department and I found out that one of my fellow interns is a Delta Zeta.

I spotted an ASA tattoo on a gal down the hall on Friday but didn't get a chance to talk to her about it yet.

Another negative.

I had previously asked two people from other branches- neither of them had been.

Maybe librarianship just does not attract many people who had been in GLOs in college.
Funny! I have three active sorors in my alumnae chapter who are librarians, and I know of a couple of others who earned their Masters Degrees in Library Sciences.

I think I'm the only Greek at my new job, but I found two guys in the glass conference room staring at my sorority jacket. (Don't call me names for wearing my jacket at work! It's cold in that office, and that jacket works better than a sweater any day.)

I wore a March of Dimes shirt to work (because it's one of those Mondays), and one of my colleagues stopped by my desk because she's volunteered with MOD, too. I told her I did it with my sorority every year, and she informed me that she was a Delta Zeta.

I'm not the only Greek in my workplace!

Greeks at Work

I'm hoping to meet a few Greeks at my new high school--I'm an English teacher I'm sure I'll find a few

Smile greeks at work

I'm back in grad school now, but when I was working full time my cube neighbor was a Gamma Phi Beta and our bosses were a ZBT and an Alpha Chi Rho.

Well, for the first time I actually have Greeks in the workplace.

Usually people in the US Army are...not the type of people that join frats/sororities. It wasn't until I started working in an Aviation Brig. that I ran into other Greeks. Now I work with about 7 guys that were in various frats all with wives/girlfriends that were in sororities.

It's cool b/c we have similar experiences...and they know how to party and socialize.

In my specific department? None. Not only that, I'm the only African-American here and have left the issue alone entirely, but I do wear a very pretty necklace with a charm that has the letters of my organization. Not a single soul has asked me about it and that's fine with me.

Throughout the other departments I've discovered that there are several of us! At least five Deltas spread throughout three different departments and we are definitely in contact with each other. Definitely nice to have some sorors here!

A few!

I worked in an office of about 30 people and I worked with 2 Sigma Kappas, the husband of a Sigma Kappa, and an Alpha Phi. I thought that was pretty good for an office our size.
