Another negative.

I had previously asked two people from other branches- neither of them had been.

Maybe librarianship just does not attract many people who had been in GLOs in college.
Funny! I have three active sorors in my alumnae chapter who are librarians, and I know of a couple of others who earned their Masters Degrees in Library Sciences.

I think I'm the only Greek at my new job, but I found two guys in the glass conference room staring at my sorority jacket. (Don't call me names for wearing my jacket at work! It's cold in that office, and that jacket works better than a sweater any day.)

I wore a March of Dimes shirt to work (because it's one of those Mondays), and one of my colleagues stopped by my desk because she's volunteered with MOD, too. I told her I did it with my sorority every year, and she informed me that she was a Delta Zeta.

I'm not the only Greek in my workplace!

I supervise a new member of Phi Sigma Sigma! She wore her Bid Day shirt to work.

I know it's not work but... through conversation about photo projects I'm
doing and thinking of doing, I found out my photo instructor is a Sigma Delta Tau from Cornell. Cool

Unfortunately I am the only Greek at work. That's what happens when you work in cell phone sales...lots of these people never even went to school...or are at JCs for the last 10 years....SAD

But the last time I worked with Greeks was at Best Buy two years ago. Worked with a fellow Pike in computers, as well as an SAE...and another Pike that was a computer tech.

Aaaaanyway, I hope the world after college in the REAL workplace will have more Greeks to associate with!

Greeks at Work

I'm hoping to meet a few Greeks at my new high school--I'm an English teacher I'm sure I'll find a few

So technically I don't work with them, but --

My boss's daughter is an ADPi, my other boss's wife is an ADPi, and his daughter is a Delta Zeta.

A woman in my office has a daughter going to my alma mater who will be doing rush next year! She's really excited!

Right now I work with 2 Kappa Sigs (from the same chapter..awww!) and a Chi-O
