Greekrank is a flipping black hole and should not be taken serious by anyone!! Every sorority at UA is amazing and filled with great girls!!!

The grade cuts were HUGE in Starling's Rho Chi group, 5 girls are returning with 1 house, 2 were cut entirely, and 10 are returning to under 5 houses.
The girls all had over a 3.9 and they ranked their legacy houses high, only 2 have been asked back.
From what I've heard, Sigma Kappa is making harsh cuts and a lot of girls were expecting to go in and have them as a "back up", but they know how to work recruitment well and they're doing a beautiful job.

So all of them got to go back to Tri-Delta, Alpha Phi, Gamma Phi, and Alpha Gam. What was Chickadee's 12th? You put ADPi twice.

Looks like your girls are all doing very well! My niece is now a senior at Bama, we are from the West coast and her mom and I were amazed by the Bama recruitment experience. I mean...custom neon signs for philanthropy day?? It’s a whole different world! Thanks for sharing your story, loving it!

A hyphenated first name, I'm assuming. Dove says they call her "MJ". I don't think it's too odd for a religious southern family. In my past life, I knew many a girl with a name like that.

I know that a lot of Hispanics use Jesus in first names, and that a lot of Southerners have double names, but have never heard Mary and Jesus together in an American name. That was so rude of Dove to make that comment!

I regularly volunteer at a camp staffed by collegiate women in varying chapters at SEC schools. I worked with a Mary Carol, Mary Grace, Mary Kate, and Mary Hartman (Mary + Mother's Maiden Name is a thing.)

At least Mary Hartman (and her peers) are too young to understand why that could be amusing.

And I'm blown away by the chapter sizes. As y'all know, I went to school in the Northeast, at a time when total was 80 and being cut across the board after open houses was unheard of unless you were a complete b*tch (or had a really low GPA, but women with low GPAs tended to self-select out and pledge the library instead of rushing). The SEC is a whole different ball game, recruitment-wise.

Yes and no. There's a whole lot of grade inflation today.
