I was named after an Alice Cooper song, Steven. If you get a chance, listen to it. It's kinda creepy. My middle name, Andrew, is the same as my dads and my great grandfathers, even though he had 3 middle names, andrew samuel jackson, and my great uncle is a junior! he goes by junior though

okay don't laugh at my name story- most people do.

my mom wanted to name me Tasha, but then new neighbors moved in who had a dog named tasha. scratch that...so my mom decides to name me something having to dow ith her FAVORITE singer.... barry manilow. her favorite song was "Mandy" so here i am, Mandy Lee... you'd think they'd name me Amanda so i had a full name, but nope. just mandy.. haha... never met another one like me!! (just glad her favorite song wasn't copacabana, i could be Lola right now )
When I found out I was pregnant, I decided I wanted to name the baby after my grandmother (and her grandmother) if it was a girl... Mandie Elizabeth. I had a boy, though, and he is named for his father's grandfather. Now, I have to try to teach people how to spell his name correctly.

Allison
My wife's name is Alice Marie. I'm Thomas Blaine, but have not idea where the name came from.

Our oldest daughter's first serious boyfriend was Blaine Thomas.

I was named for my paternal grandmother in the Greek tradition. When it came to a middle name, my mom wanted to give me my great-grandmother's name, Angelica. My dad wanted to follow Greek tradition again and give me the feminine version of his name, which would have been Sotiria.

Thank goodness, they could not come to an agreement so I ended up with no middle name at all. After I got married, I took my maiden name as a middle, which I think is a very happy compromise.

I was named after Princess Stephanie of Monoco (please correct me if that is wrong), and Princess Diana of Wales.

My parents didn't want to know if I was a boy or girl until I was born, so they didn't even bother to really look at names. When I was born, they debated for a while on Carol or Heather. They ended up choosing Carol because it didn't rhyme with so many things, like leather, feather, etc. Needless to say, when that evil Poltergeist movie came out, the idea of not being able to make fun of my name went to Hell.... do you know how many times I hear "Carol Anne... come through the mirror..."?!

I would much rather have been a Heather....

My brother was named after my mom's little brother, Kenneth, who died when my mom was 6 (he was 4- pneumonia sucks), and it was a sentimental thing. Of course, with my brother being Ken, my friends were always mean and called me Barbie. I hated that...

Allison

My sister's name is Allison Marie too! My parents thought that she was going to be a boy and they were going to name her after my dad's father, Alfred. When they found out she was a girl, it changed to Allison.

Originally, my mom wanted to name me Michelle. She then changed her mind to Jaclyn after Jaclyn Smith. My name ended up being Jaclyn Michelle.

First Name-- Well lets see, my mother was definatley a teenager in the eighties ( she was 19 when I was born and was a year out of high school ) and she was way into the whole "Dynasty" thing. So, I was named after one of the main characters...Krystle Carrington. Not many people spell their name like that so its kinda cool.

Middle Name-- Well its either after my godmother who has been best friends with my mom since they were like, 10...Or my dad's sister who I guess was really close to my mother. And thats Kinda spelled different too...Lynne.

So the full name? Krystle Lynne Rose. Ha. Stripper much? No, I'm kidding :-p

JESSICA~ My dad actually came up with my first name and he says I was named after Jessica Lange.

RENEE~ As for my middle name, friends of the family came up with it. Another friend liked it so much that she named her daughter Renee!
